It's been a trooper through my workouts, hiking, etc. The rubber strap it comes with is oddly comfortable. The ballistic calculator with the app has been dead on. All of the features have been outstanding. Make sure you take the time to learn how to use them all, I'm definitely no expert with most features, but it's pretty intuitive. COMS:The accuracy of the REM cycles was shown to be a little off, but it is within a decent percentile of acceptable imo. The texting, phone calls, etc are better on the apple watch, but I didn't buy it to use as a phone alternate. Summary: Enjoy it! If you are into actually being out hiking, running, shooting, and getting away from always being available, this is perfect and a great piece of equipment. Absolutely insane that Ive gone so long without one of these. An absolutly awesome piece of equipment, does absolutely everything you can think of and more. Monitors and tells me my sleep, tracks my runs, tells me how to recover, strength training, and if you want this model can store ballistic profiles and DOPE. My DOPE was good for the match I just went to, recommend the Range Card setting, easy to cycle through for different ranges rather than the first screen you can use. Compared to my Kestrel/verified DOPE it was only off 0.1mils at 800+ yards. Again. This thing is amazing, worth every penny, battery life is also wild. The picture is me tracking and essentially looking at how my heart rate was doing during the stage at the shooting match. Device allows me to see when I need to lower my heartrate, focus on breathing, while also checking my dope. ... show more

This is the best watch I have ever owned. Battery lasts weeks and is readily viewable. The Garmin watch face selection is a bit clunky but should not factor in to buying this or not. It's a large watch, if that's your thing there is not a better smart watch.

Would buy again if somehow it was ever needed. This watch is as close to indestructible as humanly possible. I build houses and this thing has been covered in concrete, grease, motor and form oil, tar, sheetrock dust, and everything else on the job site, and the sapphire glass remains unscathed. The titanium body has a few dings and scratches, but nothing terrible. Everything works perfect on the watch. The battery life has dwindled a bit over the last 3 years, going from charging once a month to charging twice a month, which I'm not complaining about. It's awesome for tracking your snowmobile and kayak trips, workouts, and my favorite, sleep. And the best part, it gives you a map of the current hole you're on, showing all hazards and yardage to the front, back, and center of the green from your current location while you're out golfing. And you can even keep track of your score on the watch. It felt a little big at first but I got used to it quickly. There's a ton of different watch faces to choose from on the Garmin apps that's easy to change out info displayed on the home screen, and cool watch bands to customize it, too. It's life-changing. The best watch I have ever had. Worth every penny and more. Why did I hesitate so much? If you are a sailor or a pilot, this watch is invaluable. It has the tide tables, that saved me several time. It gives you Metar, and TAF before you fly. It does everything and more. It has a very useful flash light, which came in so handy on several occasions. I have not used the ballistic feature. The watch is very rugged. I think the face is scratch proof. With my use it looks new after six month. It charges with solar, although not sure if it makes any difference to battery life. I charge it once a week. You can read the watch in bright sunlight and at night it has a light. It has so many features and customization that I have not been able to use them. The watch figures out if you have walked and tells you how long. You do need garmin connect on the phone to use all the features. The learning curve is steep, but really worth it. Thank you Garmin! I forgot, it also measure your blood oxygen. At 12000 ft altitude mine went down to 86%. Time to descend. ... show more
