  • Love my Enduro so far...
Color: Carbon Gray Style: GPS Watch
Awesome battery life for a slower triathlete. Easy to ready screen. Solar option lessen anxiety but it recharges not very efficiently. I had a Forerunner 935 and the battery life was diminishing: The functions/menu are nearly identical but with an obvious delay with each press of the buttons with the Enduro...updates have not helped. Love the lighter Titanium version which is worth the extra money to me: less wrist impingement. I like the elastic metal free band: I was developing a metal allergy to my 935 buckle. It is more sizeable than my 935 which I miss and watch out for bumping into doorways etc. I put a screen protector ASAP. ... show more

  • Price is hefty, but it delivers!!!
Color: Carbon Gray Style: GPS Watch
Do you want a durable smart watch that tracks: HR, stress, sleep, GPS, run, pace, grit+flow, and countless other sport specific metrics while lasting 30+ days? This is it. The price is hefty, but it delivers on each item AND lasts for a long time. If you are familiar with the Fenix line, think about it as the same, but no music, and a multiple of the battery life. A total plus is that the elastic band is SUPER comfortable and durable. Its breathable as well. ... show more

  • Battery beast, for actual endurance training
Color: Carbon Gray Style: GPS Watch
Garmin Enduro is originally designed specific for endurance athletes. I do half marathon, marathon, ultrarun, distance trail run and triathlon and I'll say this Enduro is perfect for me. At the beginning, with the software 15.20 there are quite a lot of bugs especially crashed during saving the activities and lost all the workout load. Garmin this time did not disappoint me and issued the software update 16.30 and it resolved the problems. The user interface is very easy to use. And the 5 buttons control is very easy to use. For the watch targeting for those sports it is better not to have touchscreen because the sweat will cause accidental touch if you ever experience it. GPS accuracy is pretty good. It doesn't matter on paved road or deep inside the mountain. The GPS can track the trail fairly accurate and it is relatively reliable to trace the previous trail while you are in the middle of nowhere. Although I would still carry the topo map no matter what along with the essential 10 during a trail run to be safe. It does not have the features as Fenix 6X but it is not targeting to be a multifunction sports watch, more likely to be a super battery endurance watch so there goes that. Talking about the battery life, with me running for average 2 hours daily using GPS and ultra or trail runs for 5 - 7 hours weekly the battery still last more than 2 weeks without the need of charging. I usually charge every two weeks anyways when it dropped to around 30% just to be safe. But that is the biggest feature of this watch. The pricing is similar to Fenix 6X, however, if you are looking for multifunction sports watch, then go with Fenix 6X, because Enduro lacks most features like music, topo map, etc. But if you are more concern about watch running out of juice during an ultra marathon or triathlon, then Enduro is absolutely for you. I saw other reviews comparing Enduro to Fenix 6X, I just want to say they are not directly comparable because of the different groups they are targeting. Edit: I did encounter another triangle of death crash after the software updated to 16.60 and all the data was lost after a 12.45 miles trail run. The watch froze at the saving screen (see attached) for a long time and eventually restarted. Garmin issued an update to 16.70 and it seems resolving the problem but we will see if the problem persist again. Edit 6/27/21: Garmin has issued 17.72 Update. Some new features and hasn't crashed since then. ... show more

  • Awesome.

All metrics good. Heart rate all day good. Oxygen at night good; not used all day. Exercise tracking great. Additional tracking gives this watch edge over competitors.

  • Amazing battery life!
Color: Carbon Gray Style: GPS Watch
The battery life is fantastic, and that was what I desired above all in this watch. Garmin fitness apps are always great, so this doesn’t disappoint there. I’ve been extremely satisfied with this purchase.
