    • Finally a solidly built chuck.
If you're tired of those cheap'o air chucks that seem to disintegrate after two uses or ones that just feel cheap, this is the chuck for you. My experience is that it feels heavy and solid when handled, the 1/10psi gradation on the instrument is preferred, and the user interface is top notch. You don't even have to turn the thing on or off. Just hook it up to your air line, and start filling. You don't even need to be connected to an air line to check tire pressure. Just attach to your Shrader valve, and it lights up and shows you the pressure. I'm totally satisfied with this product. Tip for operation: It will always show a higher pressure when filling. Just release the trigger for a moment to properly read tire pressure. A must have for every garage compressor! ... show more

    • One of my best Amazon purchases EVER.
First... I have been a car nut for years... my first car in 1965, a 'gear head' all of those years. Rallies, autocross, track events, concours... all things automotive. Have rebuilt engines, restored cars... just some background on how car crazy I am and my experience... This is the best instrument for inflating tires I've ever had. Adjusting g pressures is almost fun. One note about accuracy... hard to quantify. Very close (less than a half pound difference) with a large diameter Intercomp gauge I own (at 30 pounds pressure). The big deal is how easy to use... the hose attaches very well to stem of tire, and stays put thru the entire operation (used to be a pain to maintain a good seal, when inflating and checking pressure). Low?... press lever to add air... high? Press button to release air. No more adding air, switching to gauge and back. So simple... I checked air in all three of our cars, the golf cart and the riding mower! It is a pleasure to use. Automatically turns on when pressure is detected. Nice having read out in tenths of a pound. A very good product in my mind. And a very reasonable price... going to get another for my other compressor! ... show more

Very handy tool for checking and adjusting tire pressure. Being able to inflate, deflate, and see the pressure on the same gauge makes the whole process much quicker than constantly stopping to check with a separate gauge.     • Exceeded My High Expectations; They Got It Right
Do you get that "Oh crap" feeling when the valve stem is at the very bottom of the rotation? I do. Whether I am inflating or just testing, my old knee joints make it almost impossible to prevent air from leaking. This product changes everything for the better. The clip-on valve stem tip worked perfectly with barely a hiss. Noticeably better than others I have used in the past. I was intrigued by the screw-on tip so I put it on the hose using the teflon thread seal (supplied with product -- nice) and just hand tightened. It screwed on and off easily and quickly with no detectable loss of air. Nice. The display on the gauge lights automatically when it detects pressure. Nice. So easy to read. I left the gauge hanging by the hose while I left to get my little pancake compressor and used the male quick-connect supplied with the product. The inflation lever worked smoothly and I released the lever when the display showed 34.1 psi. OK, I didn't verify the accuracy of that figure but having the pressure displayed in tenths of a psi gave me the unwarranted sense of extreme accuracy. Very comforting. The pointy device pictured with the other accessories turned out to be a beautifully crafted install/removal tool for the Schrader valve core. I didn't try it but I bet it works perfectly. Easily worth the 23 bucks on Amazon. It would be a great gift for anyone who checks their own tire pressure. I think this may be the most positive review I've ever written. No, I wasn't given the product or paid to write this review. I'll probably show it off to my friends. ... show more

I love this product it is so easy to use and make you monthly air pressure check easy when you have several car to check. After a year of use my gauge stop printing the tire pressure. I called the company direct and they sent me a new one with no problem.

    • Great Value; Well Made
I purchased this tire pressure gauge in early 2021 and believe I have used it long enough to write a review. I have had zero issues with this gauge despite heavy use (for a homeowner, not a mechanic) on cars, trucks, bikes and soccer balls, use in hot summers and temperatures well below zero degrees. The lighted display is bright and easy to read. I have had to replace the batteries only twice in the last four years, which is better than most electronic tools I have. As other reviewers have noted: the pressure read-out shows the inflation pressure when adding air - NOT the tire's actual pressure - and you must release the fill lever to see the true tire pressure. Adding more air, or releasing air via the release button, is very simple. This is NOT a defect; it is how pressure gauges work. If this tire pressure gauge ever fails, I will update this review (and buy a replacement, because I think it is well worth the money). ... show more

Well, so far so good. I bought this one to replace one that I've had for over 3 years. And it broke off at the top where the DOW was, but this one looks like it's much stronger. And it looks like it will last. It does feel much heavier than the one that I had the placement for. The switch on how to operate the air function in and out is much more comfortable than the other one where they have the placement of the handle is right in line with the gauge so that You can actually see the numbers on the dial.When you're putting the air into the tire, which is something I like.So the placement was very nice.In which they did that, it has a white background light.My old one had a blue background light.You could still see it at night, but this one seems like it's a lot more brighter which I like so far.So good this is my review. ... show more
