My primary concern in purchasing a smartwatch was its battery life. I work within an Apple environment, a MAC Mini, an 11-inch iPad Pro, and an iPhone. So, I looked at the Apple Watch first. No matter how sophisticated or seamlessly integrated with Apple devices, I couldn’t accept the need to charge daily. My desires were few: a reliable timepiece, some health information, fitness tracking, multiple discreet notifications and alarms, and the longest possible battery life. The Garmin Enduro does it all. After exactly one month of continuous use, the battery percentage went from 95% to 47%. Garmin recommends charging the watch at around 40%, but it's not required. One can drain the battery to whatever level and program a custom charge notification in the watch. I expect at least 60 days from one full charge, possibly more. GPS use, maps (and golf course maps!) would consume battery life a bit quicker. I don’t need those features: date/day, heart rate, steps, sunset, battery percentage, and temperature on the dial, as well as health information, alarms, sleep tracking, notifications, and calendar alerts, which can be quickly scrolled through on a sub-dial when needed. I particularly enjoy the alarm tone, which is not annoying, accompanied by a gentle wrist vibration. Vibration also announces notifications and incoming calls, so I don’t need a ringtone on my phone. The dial is excellently readable in natural light. A backlight may be programmed to activate by touchscreen or wrist gesture. And the switchable flashlight is bright. I have a thin wrist, so I purchased the smaller diameter watch face, but it may still be too large for some. The watch is shipped with silicone and velcro watch bands. I bought an aftermarket metal clasp wristband to give the device a more formal appearance. With Garmin's proprietary quick-release system, watch bands are changed quickly and easily. The setup is challenging for a first-timer. I worked by phone with a fantastically kind and patient live human (imagine that!) at Garmin Tech Support. The representative assisted with setup and adjustments to optimize battery life.

I was never a fan of the fitbits, or apple watch community. As a runner, as an athlete, and as someone who loves the tactical style watch like your G-Shocks, this is an incredible watch. Heart rate, GPS, training with Garmin, Sleep, Morning Report, Maps, and you know what is extra awesome, the built in light that allows me to see in the dark at a swift press of a button (well double tap) If you are on the fence, this is the watch for you trust me!

Love this watch, battery lasts forever, 4 days backpacking and down to just 45%. I had a Galaxy watch and was lucky to get through a day. Love this watch, super accurate mileage. Love the work out detailed analytics, heart info, ox, max, min, and sleep analysis. Yes, I can finally get sleep data because the watch doesn't need to charge over night each night.

I received a Garmin certified refurbished unit in like new condition with two Garmin branded straps just like a new Enduro 2. If you are looking at this watch, you already know what Enduro line is about. Maximum endurance and battery life. In this, so far it does not disappoint. With about 2 hrs of GPS on time every day, I am getting 16 days of battery life with no sun exposure due to winter. In my opinion, Fenix 7/Enduro 2/Epix Gen 2 line is the peak Garmin experience. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Garmin is still providing software updates. Enduro 2 is built like a tank. For its size, the weight is reasonable. GPS performance is excellent since it can get a lock from inside the house. Sapphire crystal is durable but unfortunately, a bit too reflective compared to my 6X Pro Solar with Gorilla glass. Finally, the flashlight seems like a gimmick but in reality it is very useful. Overall, a solid (literally) Garmin.

I’m really mixed on this review……! The watch itself, the Garmin Enduro 2, is absolutely AMAZING!!!! My problem is that I tried to save a few bucks and bought “refurbished”. The “refurbished” watch doesn’t come with the “official” Garmin Enduro 2 “26mm ultra fit nylon watch band”. It comes with a knockoff “abandon” watch band. How do I know? Because I immediately ordered the “official” watch band from Garmin, and they are DEFINITELY DIFFERENT!!! SO ….buyer beware. You get what you pay for. Pay the extra few dollars and get the official watch band, don’t buy the refurbished!!!!

This watch has so many features I’ve yet to go through it to put it through it’s paces. It holds charge for a least a month or more if you don’t use the mapping portion. Battery life is excellent and so far in 30 day I have not had to charge it. Of course the number of days depends on the functions used. This can vary your days. The solar part help with keeping the battery charged but have to be out in the sun a few hours and let it get up to 50k to extend battery another day. The heart beat monitoring portion works well along with the sleeping stats to let you know how well you are doing. The connect app help you keep your progress of your workouts or daily activities. The enduro comes with light which I found handy to use to find my way through the a path or to find items in my shed when it is dark. Light is pretty strong and lights good area. Watch has too many features to mention here. All I can say is that it does what it is suppose to do and does it well. All and all worth what the watch brings to your workouts and just daily usage.
