I have owned the Enduro 1, Enduro 2, and Enduro 3, so when I say the Enduro 2 is the best of the bunch, that comes from direct experience with the entire line. The battery life is exceptional, exactly what you want from an Enduro. It just keeps going, and the solar charging actually contributes meaningfully to extending it further. No battery anxiety whatsoever. The stock watch faces are outstanding. They are data-rich, bold, and easy to read at a glance. This is where Garmin truly excelled with this generation, and it shows every time you look down at your wrist. The size and appearance of the watch are spot on. It has a presence on the wrist that looks and feels purposeful. The Carbon Gray DLC titanium finish, the yellow accents, the overall design are all exceptional. Every time I look down at it I am reminded why I love this watch. It is not trying to be a fashion piece. It is built to perform, and it looks the part. Beyond aesthetics, it just works. GPS is accurate, heart rate tracking is reliable, the flashlight is genuinely useful and impressively bright, and the entire experience is rock solid without the glitches and frustrations that can come with newer platform iterations. If you are considering the Enduro 3 instead, I would encourage you to think carefully. Perfect for tracking my exercise and my daily calorie burn. This watch has been so awesome for my fitness journey! I love all of the features, but I especially love the constant heart rate monitor as it helps me know if I'm over-exerting myself during runs or hikes. The watch is very customizable and you can download apps onto it to suit your preference, but I just use the default watch face and apps because they're great as is. The built-in flashlight is also very handy, especially when taking the dog out at night! Battery power is very nice and you can turn certain features on/off to maximize your battery. I use the watch's activity trackers daily with constant heart rate monitoring on, gps tracking on, bluetooth on, and wifi off. I only have to charge the watch once every few weeks! I do not notice any differences when the sun is high. Honestly I don't think solar charging makes much of a difference. When I was backpacking, the watch's battery drained the same rate as it did when I was at home inside. Refurbished tech is so great. The watch is basically brand new, there was a slight scratch on the side of the watch but nothing else. It functions just fine and I haven't had any problems. ... show more

It is a good watches. Everything is known when we compare and it depends on our needs. Im a apple watch user and I wanted to have smth with better battery - not for one day usage. Garmin Enduro 2 much has much better battery. One day of using - only 4 %. Independent GPS. However, display is a deferent type that apple watch has. The size is much bigger than apple watch 10 and looks on wrist unpropitious. For now I decided to have apple watch, but very likely that in future I would buy garmin because eof its battery. ... show more

I received a Garmin certified refurbished unit in like new condition with two Garmin branded straps just like a new Enduro 2. If you are looking at this watch, you already know what Enduro line is about. Maximum endurance and battery life. In this, so far it does not disappoint. With about 2 hrs of GPS on time every day, I am getting 16 days of battery life with no sun exposure due to winter. In my opinion, Fenix 7/Enduro 2/Epix Gen 2 line is the peak Garmin experience. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Garmin is still providing software updates. Enduro 2 is built like a tank. For its size, the weight is reasonable. GPS performance is excellent since it can get a lock from inside the house. Sapphire crystal is durable but unfortunately, a bit too reflective compared to my 6X Pro Solar with Gorilla glass. I’m really mixed on this review……! The watch itself, the Garmin Enduro 2, is absolutely AMAZING!!!! My problem is that I tried to save a few bucks and bought “refurbished”. The “refurbished” watch doesn’t come with the “official” Garmin Enduro 2 “26mm ultra fit nylon watch band”. It comes with a knockoff “abandon” watch band. How do I know? Because I immediately ordered the “official” watch band from Garmin, and they are DEFINITELY DIFFERENT!!! SO ….buyer beware. You get what you pay for. Pay the extra few dollars and get the official watch band, don’t buy the refurbished!!!! ... show more

My primary concern in purchasing a smartwatch was its battery life. I work within an Apple environment, a MAC Mini, an 11-inch iPad Pro, and an iPhone. So, I looked at the Apple Watch first. No matter how sophisticated or seamlessly integrated with Apple devices, I couldn’t accept the need to charge daily. My desires were few: a reliable timepiece, some health information, fitness tracking, multiple discreet notifications and alarms, and the longest possible battery life. The Garmin Enduro does it all. After exactly one month of continuous use, the battery percentage went from 95% to 47%. Garmin recommends charging the watch at around 40%, but it's not required. One can drain the battery to whatever level and program a custom charge notification in the watch. I expect at least 60 days from one full charge, possibly more. GPS use, maps (and golf course maps!) would consume battery life a bit quicker. I don’t need those features: date/day, heart rate, steps, sunset, battery percentage, and temperature on the dial, as well as health information, alarms, sleep tracking, notifications, and calendar alerts, which can be quickly scrolled through on a sub-dial when needed. I particularly enjoy the alarm tone, which is not annoying, accompanied by a gentle wrist vibration. Vibration also announces notifications and incoming calls, so I don’t need a ringtone on my phone. The dial is excellently readable in natural light. A backlight may be programmed to activate by touchscreen or wrist gesture. And the switchable flashlight is bright. I have a thin wrist, so I purchased the smaller diameter watch face, but it may still be too large for some. The watch is shipped with silicone and velcro watch bands. I bought an aftermarket metal clasp wristband to give the device a more formal appearance. With Garmin's proprietary quick-release system, watch bands are changed quickly and easily. The setup is challenging for a first-timer. I worked by phone with a fantastically kind and patient live human (imagine that!) at Garmin Tech Support. Perfect condition and great value! Came with the watch (obviously), charging cord, and two wristbands (silicone and nylon). An improvement on the instinct 2x solar that I’m upgrading from. Materials are absolutely premium.
