After receiving this ZIGNTY Garlic Press, I put it straight to work. The sleeve works great to get the garlic skins off, just as advertised. You pop a clove or two inside the tube and roll the tube gently on a hard surface with the palm of your hand. It only takes a few seconds for the skins to come off. You can run the sleeve under water and any skin residue and extra pieces easily come out in the water stream. At first I put one clove in the press, and it worked fine. But then I loaded it with several to see how much it would hold. In my picture I show the outcome with 3 full-sized cloves. Even with the garlic remnants of the prior clove (also shown in the pictures,) the following cloves still came through just fine. I found that the little brush the press comes with doesn't really do anything to dislodge the garlic remnants, nor did the point of a sharp knife. In the end, the dull tip of a butter knife did the best in getting the remaining garlic out of the press. I added the remnants to my saute pan, along with the rest of the garlic I had pressed out. Nothing wasted, and it all cooks down. So overall, the press works well, and I like that it accommodates more than one clove at a time. The sleeve is a quick tool to remove skins. They both clean up easily and are dishwasher safe.

It's a garlic press and it presses garlic well, what else do you need?! Lol, really though, this unit is a very nicely made garlic press that I am confident with live up to years of use. I was really taken back by how thick the stainless is on this unit. Sometimes with a stamped design, you can create unintentional weak spots and a lime press, garlic press, or anything with leverage like this, you can bend or snap handles easily - ask me how I know! This press though, no issue! I admit I can be a bit hammer fisted with some things and after 3 or 4 bulbs pressed, I can say with confidence you're not going to break or bend this one! I'm a 6'3" mechanic with grip strength like a gorilla and this press hasn't budged a bit!

This is a quality product. It's heavy duty and could be used professionally. It is as advertised. I love the good size and especially the wider handle for easier grip ability and comfort when squeezing. Its large chamber is ideal for large garlic cloves and its crushing power is fantastic because it works hard so that you don't have to. I had large cloves that were very fresh and therefore very dense and yet it turned them into a pile of fine granular bits in a just a couple minutes (see picture). It also works without peeling the garlic first if you prefer or are in a hurry, however, the silicon roller/peeler actually worked surprisingly well. I haven't tried it yet on older garlic which is more difficult to peel than the fresh stuff but I think it could work. Cleaning it wasn't difficult but it would be nice if it came apart for that purpose. I know I know it's a silly mention but that's why I had to short the rating a half star. Frankly it'd have to be self cleaning and cook me dinner to achieve that glory, but you can put it in the dishwasher if you like although I wouldn't recommend it because you don't want the grate holes getting messed up with hardened garlic if you're not running it right away. Again though, cleaning was not difficult, although the little brush they give you is a little too light duty for how packed the garlic can become inside the holes of the grating area. So I just used my usual dish cleaning bristled brush and it took all of 7 seconds. Nice product and great quality! 👍👍

This is a very nice, sleek looking garlic press. I thought it looked like a fancy stapler. This press comes with a black garlic sleeve for removing skins. That worked pretty easily and well – just roll garlic around in it on your cutting board. Place the peeled garlic into the press, and squeeze the garlic until it comes out of the little holes. Because the handle is long, it gives enough leverage to squeeze easily to mince most of the garlic. I do have to use the back of a butter knife to remove the minced garlic from the press as it doesn’t just fall into the bowl or pan. It’s a lot easier to use this than to mince by hand.

When you first open the box, it's obvious this press is good quality. It has some weight to it, and with a beautiful presentation, it would make a great gift. You get the press, a sleeve to peel garlic, and a cleaning brush. I like that the holes on this press are larger than the others I have. This one is easy to squeeze. Peel the garlic first and it will be easier to squeeze. You can also leave the skin on but the garlic is more of a paste instead of chopped. I do love it, but I wish it had a changeable blade where one blade chops and the other blade slices the garlic. If you only need a press that produces chopped garlic, this one is great!

I was tired of trying to mince garlic with a knife. I love how this tool works. It's easy to remove the garlic skins with a few quick rolls and then mince a garlic clove with a quick squeeze. I use the tip of a knife or butter knife to clear the remnants and add them to the pan. The tool is easy to clean and can be put in a dishwasher.

It feels very durable and looks nice and shiny right out of the dishwasher. It leaves a little garlic inside but it's easily rinsed and the dishwasher finishes the cleaning. This is the simplest of all the garlic presses I've ever seen which is great because there's really nothing about the design that will ever break or go wrong.

I got this press to replace another garlic press that broke. This press feels significantly better made. It works as well as any other one, just feels like it's going to last. The garlic peeler thing works, but you can really only peel one clove at a time, maybe 2. Not much else to say about a garlic press.
