This basically crushes cloves it doesn't push it trough the holes, it basically crushes the garkic..... you could have used the flat of the knife or Abby flat object (just grab a Redbridge hammer, would be faster and easier)

Saw these online and thought they were a good idea. Garlic presses are annoying to clean and I thought this simpler tool would be better and sometimes I’m just too lazy to chop it up with a knife. This mincer works but tends to smash the garlic more than mincing it.

I bought this after watching a cool video of garlic being effortlessly crushed using this device. I thought it would be easier to clean than the traditional garlic press I already had. Well guess what, the basic principle of leverage at work means it is much easier to force the garlic clove through a press than to push it through the holes of this device using brute force. It was almost a total fail and I went back to the press. I recommend you do the same.

Well... ok... they didn't promise. But the metal is too thin ... it flexes and doesn't really do the job. Concept is great but for me it's a thumbs down.

This is just a little help if you need to cut up a lot of garlic. I wouldn’t use it for one clove, but good tool to add to your kitchen.
