This was the first time I tried to wash this rug since it has been in my kitchen. That was a HUGE mistake. One of the two I had ordered had one side come apart with long pieces of the woven material tangled and a mess. The backing on both rugs fell apart and left a lot of small pieces of the backing and what is equivalent to dust in my washing machine. This was the worst rug purchase I have ever made. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS RUG. If you do purchase this rug do not ever try to wash it. I am beyond disappointed in this product. I used this rug to keep my dogs bed from sliding on tile floors. It works and the color blends well. It doesnt hold up to frequent vacuuming for me. Its better if I just shake and wash it.

I bought a tan 2x5 and this 2x12. The tan color matches the picture shown. These came rolled up and they laid flat right away, but I am using them over a worn carpet. One crease in the 2x12, but not that bad. I had bought another Garland rug 2x12 at another place that came folded.
