Because it’s black, dirt and lint shows up like neon on this rug which requires almost daily vacuuming. This rug is NOT for high traffic areas. But I love the rug because of its softness when you walk on it. And the color and it’s pattern added the effect to the room just as I desired.

A really great rug, it has held up well and cleans very nicely. It has a grippy bottom so it does not slide on hard floors. I have a dog and the hair comes right off of it. It is soft but not overly thick and fluffy.
