    • There's no school like the old school: comfortable and durable, purely utilitarian workwear.
I used other people's reviews to help with sizing. So here's mine, if it helps: Height: 6' 1 1/2" Weight: 215-230 lbs. The XL Tall fits perfectly. A touch loose, which is good because in winter I will wear jeans and long sleeve shirts underneath. I have had a pair of these for a over a year. They have gotten a lot of use. Every time I go out to the shop (woodworker), garden, paint, mow the lawn, home improvement, even cleaning the house sometimes, I wear these. They are marked with wood stain, glue and paint and even as much as I wear them they are showing no sign of wearing out. They have not shrunk and fit just as well today as when I bought them. These are great. But let's face it: I do look like a Ghostbuster (especially since I have the khaki color). But who cares? Yes I wear them in public. So in the middle of a project when I go to Home Despot (not a typo), I wear these. Anyway, if you feel you need to dress nicely to go to the home center, then your man card needs to be revoked. I wear a suit to work and I own a tuxedo. But when I perform manual labor, I wear these. These are so comfortable you will wish you had bought them years ago. In the summer when it is 90 degrees and humid. I don't have heavy jeans on. They are loose and comfortable. In the cold, I wear jeans, and a long sleeve shirt underneath, a hoodie over top, and if need be a coat and I'm still perfectly comfortable. And let's face it: no pants and shirt means no plumber's crack (which is a good enough reason to buy a pair). This also means every time you get up you don't have to hike your pants back up. No bells, no whistles. Let's face it. You're gonna use these to dig a hole, cut a piece of wood, lay tile, etc. Not fly an F-22. Just buy them, you won't regret it. ... show more
