Southpointe Shag is machine tufted shag in Olefin yarn on 100% Latex nonskid backing. This rug will ship folded in a box. Fold marks will disappear after a few days. Got this 9x12 rug for less than 65 and it is an unbelievable deal! It came tightly folded and packed in a beat up box that had split open, so there was a dirty spot on the part of the rug that was exposed. Used a little rug cleaner and it came right out. It's a very fluffy, surprisingly thick and hefty rug and I didn't even use a rug pad because the rubber backing keeps it firmly in place. It takes some muscle to lay the rug flat and smooth it. Took a couple weeks of use for the biggest fold line in the middle to smooth out but I am super happy with this deal. Used it in my kid's playroom and it has held up great despite heavy use. Rubberized bottom holds like a bath mat, 60cents/sq.ft. delivered seems impossible considering the size and weight. I am using for a utility room and expect them to be worn out reasonably fast but they are excellent right now. I bought three 9x12s. It’s a great rug for the price. It’s super easy to clean and does the job, however it will not stop shedding… I’ve had it for 6 months and it’s still regularly losing strands, like vacuum it everyday and you’ll still find pieces by the end of the day type of shedding. It’s super annoying.

I really like it. It is soft (not plush, but pleasant still on the skin) and pretty heavy. It didn’t smell or anything when I unboxed it, which was nice. This picture was taken directly after pulling it straight, so it lays pretty flat just with its own weight. It was tough to drag around and arrange because it’s so large. I almost took off a star for how incredibly big it is (it really surprised me) but decided not to because it’s my fault for not understanding that’s just how big 9’x12’ is, lol. Definitely needs another rug layered on top, if only so it doesn’t get super dirty (it’s a bright white, which is nice but also scary). I think it’s mostly a good layering piece—it seems kind of stark just by itself. Overall a fantastic purchase for the price point. Seems durable and long-lasting; we’ll see how well it holds up! ... show more

Beautiful quality carpet but seller does not package well for shipping and I bought three of these carpets and all three folded into a cardboard box and nothing more so they were exploding out of the boxes and one of the three has a dirt streak but will try to remove myself because returning will take too long to get another but otherwise extremely happy with them ... show more
