Cute rug, but very thin and isn't woven like thicker rugs. It's not great quality compared to "real" rugs - it's more of a mat. And as I've discovered, these kinds of "rug" mats don't hold up very long. It was cheap, but has only lasted a couple months before being ruined by my cats/ people walking on it. I put it in the entry hall of my apartment, which actually doesn't get a ton of activity, and it's completely fallen apart. I bought these because my dog has a hard time walking on laminate floors. They work, but are not the most aesthetically pleasing. Pros: Nice rubber backing. Cons: Some uneven edging. Extremely low pile riddled with bald spots. See photo: bare spots circled show right through to rubber backing. Less visible on tan, but probably highly visible on dark colored rugs. ... show more

Purchased this 2x8ft rug in navy to help catch the water drips from the new laminate flooring in my kitchen. Bought something cheap because I wasn't sure I would like the size or if it would be a pain to keep clean. I love this rug! So easy to just sweep the crumbs, etc off, also to vacuum or shake out (though the 8ft length is cumbersome to shake). Spot cleans easily for wet spills. Have not tried machine washing, but would probably just hang on deck railing & use a hose if needed. Hasn't shown any wear in 1 month of use in a busy kitchen. Cheap enough to replace every 6 months if needed, but doubt it will be necessary. ... show more

I took a chance despite some negative reviews and this rug serves its purpose for what I need it for, and the price is right! It looks cute in the hallway of my new apartment, makes it cozy and comfortable for us and the dog! I love the chili red color. The creases are coming out and will he gone soon, I'm sure. I have vacuumed it and everything came up just fine. Fur from my dog and cat and some debris gets on it, but the vacuum made it look great again. This rug is super flat and not very cushy but if you literally just need a runner for looks and minimal comfort, buy this!! ... show more

I don't know who's idea it was to fold an extremely large area rug and throw it in a box, but they should be fired. I've never seen a rug come packaged this way. Not only was it in a box, but it wasn't wrapped with any sort of protection, and the box was falling apart. The creases where the rug was folded will not settle and lie flat. Additionally, folding stretches the rug and creates an uneven wave. It also smells horrible, like hot plastic. I cannot use this awful thing. I would love to return it, but I'm not even going to try and fold this thing back into a box and drag it to Kohls. Unbelievably disappointed. Complete waste of money. ... show more

I was skeptical about ordering this carpet runner, but I was tired of buying the clear plastic runners where I was replacing them every four months. Got tired of the expense of replacements and the quality was very poor. When this runner came in I sat and looked at the package for a day, then decided to open up and look at the rug. I was really surprised when I laid the carpet down, even though it had been rolled tight, when it was rolled out there was only one minor bend, but within a week it is now laying nice and flat. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm used to buying rugs that are 'ROLLED' not FOLDED. I didn't think it was my rug when I opened my door to get my Amazon package. But it was. When I opened it I was immediately disappointed. Duh! Who does this with a clear conscience! It will take a while to get the "folds" to relax and I've tripped over one of the folds twice. I have an arthritic dog and linoleum floors so I bought these for her so she wasn't slipping and sliding on the floor. I mainly bought them because they were inexpensive. They do the trick, however said dog vomited on one and so I washed it, tons of white "stuff" came off of these, almost like white sand, plugged up the washer, and it was everywhere. I actually hosed the rug off before I put it in the washer, as well as shaking it out real good before I put it in the washer, and then shaking it furiously from washer to dryer when I noticed all of the "stuff." They have held up well thus far but I do not recommend putting them in your washing machine or dryer. I should note, we do not have sand here, its all red clay. ... show more
