I ordered a large. My current measurements are: Bust: 38” Waist: 30” Hips: 43” This is tight around my hips and bunches just a bit above my butt. However, it fits well in the bust and waist. I would recommend sizing up if you are bottom heavy. I am also 5’3” and this hits me just below my knee. I ordered the green. This green is just slightly brighter than an olive/army green. True color to my picture of me wearing it. It is satin lined. The hood is detachable, with that same satin lining on the inside. It comes with a spare button. There is a back vent flap that wraps around one shoulder for the classic trench coat look. There is also a back slit. The belt looks outrageously long in this photo, but when I tie it in a double knot, the length works much better. Generous sized pockets. Machine washable and dry on low. My only complaint is how wrinkled it came since it claims to be wrinkle free. So I knocked one star off.

This coat runs small. Luckily, I paid attention to the measurements and ordered a size up (large) from my regular medium. The large fits well and should fit whether or not I'm wearing layers underneath. I did take away one star because the way the lapel is on the jacket is not symmetrical and looks kind of weird. The jacket itself is comfortable and feels like good quality for the price. I just don't like the way the lapel lies.

I’m 5’4, 120 pounds. I ordered a medium, and the fit is good. Check the size guide before ordering. The coat hits just below the knee. The sleeve length and overall ease of movement are just right even with a fleece and tee underneath. The fabric is a little heavy and stiff, but it does move, and it’s waterproof. It's still a little post-package wrinkled in the photos. I prefer it without the hood and belt. The hood snaps on and off easily and the coat comes with an extra button. The styling is classic– double-breasted with a vented back and banded sleeves. Although it’s lined with a coordinating satiny fabric (not thick), it’s warm; I expect it will be cozy on windy, rainy days. I deducted one star because the fabric isn't as lux as I would like, but I added it back because when I tested it in the shower, it was completely dry inside! This coat is a good basic, and I'm sure it will become a staple in my New England wardrobe.

This trench coat is well designed to keep you warm and dry. The fabric feels water-repellent, as advertised. There's an extra layer of fabric across the upper back for extra layering against wind and cold. Inside the hood there's an extra strip of fabric for your neck; this turns into a second set of lapels when the hood is removed. The hood is detachable by means of 3 sturdy snaps. There are two columns of large buttons down the front (one column is merely decorative), as well as on the shoulders and at the wrists. The belt is a simple slip-in design and is completely removable if you don't want it. All these little features give the coat a lot of versatility, as well as a stylish appearance. Size medium fits my 5'2", 140 pound frame perfectly in the shoulders and torso, but it's a little long and the sleeves come down past my wrists. That's to be expected on a short person like me, and it's not enough to detract from the appearance and quality of this trench coat. I give it a solid thumbs up.

Lovely coat. Looks expensive. Great length. It has some weight to it but it isn't too thick to add any bulkiness. It also hangs nicely and accentuates your shape. Slight flair at the bottom. Nice buttons which seem to be stitched on very well. The coat is great for exploring the city, for date night to the theater or for picking up groceries. It fits any occasion in my opinion. Made of decent waterproof material. I haven't tested it in the elements because the weather doesn't call for it yet, but I believe it will hold up well. Also, little to worry about regarding stains. Should wipe off easily. The sizing can be tricky. I sized up and I'm glad I did because otherwise it would tight in the shoulders and in the breast area. But without curves (breast, hips and butt) then you may not need to go up a size. The coat is adjustable. Belt can be cinched; cuffs can be tightened; hood can be removed I have no complaints. Can't wait to wear it out.

This is a nice double breasted trench coat, with a removable hood and removable belt for the waist. I like it without the hood most of the time, but it's nice to have on days when I might need it. If I'm going to wear it open I also remove the belt. The belt is really long so I have to fold the excess back. It's a medium weight. It fits as expected overall.
