Where has this seat been for the last 40 years of my gardening life? Surely, my sore back and creaky knees would be 10 years younger by now...if only this had been in my life! Better late than never! I have a huge garden with fourteen, 3.5' x 6.5', 17 inch high, raised beds. I sat on this incredibly comfortable seat beside each planting area with everything I needed in the side pockets. The side grab bars are very helpful when standing up or getting seated. My entire garden was planted in one day! No more sitting on an uncomfortable upsided down bucket or a hard stepping stool that's too short and dragging my supplies around in another bucket. A seriously awesome upgrade! My husband is using it for all sorts of seated and kneeling projects. Oh and it handled the rain and wind really well too. We had a big windy rain storm and I needed to sheer up my baby plants. The seat got really wet but it dried up beautifully. This would make an excellent gift for anyone for anything they do. I did carefully scrutinize all the other seats. In my opinion, this was the most well designed, most sturdy, most padded and it had the most extras. Worth every penny! Just buy it!

Finally caved, admitted my age and bought this! It’s sturdy, folds easily, and makes getting up from kneeling so much easier. I like to tool pockets much more than I thought I would. I like the gloves too - I have a good collection of garden gloves and didn’t think I needed any more, but these have “claws” that really came in handy when I planted annuals this year. I haven’t tried the seat yet, too lazy to take the tool pockets off, but I imagine it will be fine. I bought this so I could get up from my knees and it feels nice and secure when I do, so job done!

No assembly, since it arrives “ready to use”. Easy to open/close and store (slim profile). Stability of the seat is fine, if you are on flat ground. Seat should not be used on a hill. I feel this unit is the best design, when compared to similar products on Amazon. It is well worth the extra few dollars.

This is the fourth different version of this product I've purchased in the last 12 years. This is the first one deserving a five star rating. It is extremely well made. It is wider by a couple inches and lower in height by a couple inches. This adds to the stability and safety in using as a seat.

I had double knee replacement and this stool has been a godsend. Folds compactly and easily for storage. Perfect height for sitting and doing weeding, gardening, and sitting on for indoor tasks as well. It is comfortable and the perfect height. I can’t kneel down on my knees much yet so not sure if the kneeling side works well, but it is sufficiently padded so I would guess so.
