First item missing: inline connector for when you need to add just a bit of 1/4 inch line. Biggest problem was drippers vs nozzles. Using the drippers I could only use 4 in a row (around 12 feet) before the line pressure was zero (no more water). I removed all the drippers and replaced them with nozzles, then turned the nozzles almost closed. With that combination I could get all 130 feet of line with 7 nozzle emitters to work, though the flow emitted was inconsistent. To stabilize the pressure I'll switch to 3/4 inch line for the main line and use 1/4 inch off the main to the emitters at the plants. The Y connector was a nice idea, but it leaks terribly. I plan to replace it with a metal one that has more threads. Good system to start with, but I'll probably end up replacing almost all the parts with a more expensive version from Drip Works. ... show more

I like the idea of this sprinkler, to program it to turn on & off while we were on vacation. The problem was, only a few of the heads worked as due to water pressure, it slowed down to the rest of the tubing. If you increase the flow, the pressure was then too high causing to pop off/disconnect the distal connections. If it happened while we were gone, the plants will be flooded , and some will die as we thought it was being watered. Will probably return but hubs said we can’t as he already customized the tubes and tips. And oh, the connector in the Y connection leaks. We had to buy another part, half the price of what we paid for the whole thing. ... show more

    • Limited configuration because of non-standard pipe size
Others have correctly identified that the 1/2" pipe is non-standard. It is actually 8/12 mm which means that the outer dimension is 1/2" (approximately). Regardless, it is almost impossible to find compatible fittings. I purchased the product with the expectation of supplementing with additional parts, but that this world provide a good starting point. I did manage to find a workable tee fitting, but am stuck on additional end plugs. In a related note, I thought that the 1/2" to 1/4" tee fittings looked great, and they do work. However, I discovered that they are really a workaround for standard hole punch fittings because the diameter of the 1/2 tube makes their use challenging. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more for a kit that uses 16/17mm pipe. Also, while the 1/4" fitting and parts ARE standard, drip tape and normal emitters will be much more helpful in a vegetable garden. Those parts are much more helpful, and omit all the bubblers and sprinklers, at least for that application. ... show more

Not paying attention when I ordered this but the supply line and the feed lines (the one that goes to the plants) are one in the same. The supply line needs to be bigger to ensure an adequate water supply to all feed lines under low water pressure. If you turn up water pressure to compensate for the smaller supply line the pressure fittings blow apart. Do your self a favor and invest an extra 10 dollars and get a better product. ... show more

the tubes and connectors are difficult to "seat." The drip heads are easy but the connectors are a bear. stretch with a "needle nose pliers," it helps! Once done I use in conjunction with a water flow timer.
