Weighing 15.87 oz / 499.9 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining, the KEEN Men’s Targhee 3 Mid Height Waterproof Hiking Boot is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. I work in an industry that requires lots of outdoor activity in variable terrain. I was considering going with some higher end boots that cost a lot more than these do but I'm glad I didn't! These have been comfortable to wear on my feet all day, stayed dry in the rain, and have provided a sturdy tread.     • Don't hurt my feet, soles tend to delaminate

These are the only hiking boots I can wear that don't hurt my feet. However, the sole has a tendency to delaminate over time and they do not last as long as I think they should.

I go through shoes like toilet paper. Live in the mountain with very rough ground. Walk miles a day. These shoes fit like you put your foot in a mold. I’m used to climbing muddy grass hills while slipping and sliding like I’m on ice skates wearing new Rocky’s but these shoes would climb an ice hill. Litterally stood in a dozen truck bed on a hill and felt as sturdy as baseball cleats on flat ground. You want good shoes go keen. Update. They have started to come apart and I haven’t even had the chance to be rough with them. It’s been about 3 months now. Very disappointed as they still fit and feel wonderful ... show more

Pretty typical Keen boot. Outside is not waterproof, the inside liner is. This boot feels lighter than previous versions (yeah!). Looks good. Standard wide toe box. Insole is a slight improvement on their terrible previous version. Once they break in I’m sure they will be fantastic, just like all my Keen boots and shoes. Only complaint with these is that the laces are to short for me, and it’s almost impossible to double not them. I’m going to have to get some longer laces or a quick lace type system to be happy with that part. ... show more
