    • It won’t close so kinda defeats the purpose but did help
It’s slightly too small. The center part gaps. Carefully positioned and it got it placed but how you roll it up with it secured to actually insulate isn’t feasible. It would need magnets on the sides as well. It could be designed better. If it wasn’t so much hassle I’d return it.

The Garage insulated door curtain is nice and easy to install however you install the door cover on the outside of the door I personally didn't care for that because I would have to go out in the weather to remove the cover before opening the garage door otherwise it would be a good product just needs to be able to remove inside. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. ...but with a few drawbacks. To begin, I am underwhelmed by the packaging. The Garage Insulated Door Curtain came folded up inside a black garbage bag and tightly wrapped with clear packing tape. Not knowing how or in what way the curtain was packed, I had to be very careful in opening the bag. I didn't want to cut or damage the fabric. But when I got it out of the black bag and then out of a clear bag, I was highly pleased at the quality, both of the fabric and of the stitching and construction. But then I looked at the piece of paper that had the installation illustrations with captions. The directions seem kind of simplistic, and don't mention at all the box of push-pins that were packed in the folded curtain. I *think* that the pins are supposed to be used around the perimeter of the curtain - after it is installed - to keep it from sagging or from detaching from the Velcro. The instructions appear to direct the user to first apply the roll of Velcro to the edges of the curtain, then stick everything to the door frame. In my case, I wanted to replace a beat-up, run-down old piece of plastic tarp that I was using to keep the rain out of a very old garage. The paint is flaking, so the stickum on the Velcro doesn't stickum very well. I had to use a staple gun to keep the Velcro strip in place, so that the relatively heavy curtain wouldn't pull the strip down. There are weights sewn into the bottom seam, which is nice. They keep the curtain draped down. Also, there are magnets sewn into the two seams which divide the curtain down the middle. And there is a little pull-tab on one of the sides that allow easy entry through the magnet-held-together center seam. I like it. Besides the poor packaging and not-very-helpful instructions, it looks great, it works the way it should, and I'm pretty sure it will last quite a while. The advertising touts this curtain as being "for Winter". But it should also insulate against the heat of Summer. Anyway, that's one of the things I'm hoping for. Keep out the heat, the rain, and (hopefully) some flying insect pests. We'll see... ... show more
