I don't know about everyone else, but these directions so many things come with are so ridiculous. The pictures and parts don't match. In fact, a very important part doesn't even show on the booklet. The print is so tiny you can't really see it. Ok past that if and when you get it assembled it's not a bad product. It's not commercial grade, but still sturdy. I think it's a little prettier for a home owner model instead of pure utility. This one is actually headed to my vending structure for an event in Dec. We aren't usually doing events as late as Dec. so haven't been prepared for cold temps. I will say this heater does seem to throw out a decent amount of wonderful heat. The safety aspect caught my attention also. With the frame like it is - it would be hard to get up next to it to get burned. In my busy little building that matters so much. It will also make a good emergency heater if we had no heat there or at home. Happy to have added to my list of helpful things to have on hand. ... show more

This is a heavy-duty heater with a suspended heating element housed in a strong metal cage. The heater is up to full output almost immediately and radiates nicely while through the strong cage frame protects surrounding areas and others from burns. Several issues keeping this from a 5-star product, instruction manual lacks proper assembly or orientation of element hanging bracket, so viewing the Amazon video and photos is vital. Next there is only one heat setting and no thermostatic function to measure ambient temperature and cycle the unit if ample heat is reached. Its either on high or off. Lastly the frame has an expanding protection function to be used when heating and a closed down position for storage however the difference is minimal and full flat function is impeded by the location of the heating element. I could modify to reduce storage area required but given the liability of modifying a heater chose to leave as is. With only a bit more design this is easily a 5-star rated product. ... show more

This heavy duty heater is easy to assemble after watching the video. It folds up for storage. It heats up very fast and is great for inside or outside use. One issue I do have is that it doesn't have a thermostat nor does it have the option ofhigh, medium or low. You turn it on and when it gets too warm you have to turn it off. I do like the fact that it is portable and the frame prevents tip overs and also protects you from getting burned. I like the fact that the cord is long. ... show more

Great portable heater with all the bells and whistles. Love that it is protected in it's own metal case for added portability and safety. I've only used it a few times but this cranks heat and does exactly what I need it to. The metal frame is very heavy duty and the heat that comes off it of the bulb heats up very fast for instant heat. The unit was easy to put together and the longer cord allows me to delver heat to pretty much anywhere I need it. Would recommend! ... show more

This heater is nicer than I expected, puts out a great deal of heat and is much lighter weight than I was expecting as well. Not too hard at all to assemble and it is a very safe heater the way that it is designed. Definitely recommended

I have a very large garage, and I was looking for something to take the chill out of the air during the winter months. I am in SouthEast Louisiana, so we do not get super cold in the early winter months but this past weekend I did get a chance to test it. I'm disappointed with the results. So it got down to the high 30’s low 40 this past weekend and I had turned on the heater to test if it can keep the garage from reaching freezing conditions. I know I have exceeded the space this heater can cover at 1200sf but I hoped it would do just a bit better than it did. I aimed it at the pipes carrying and holding/filtering the well water for my house, ( the temp dropped to 39 degrees overnight). The next morning I eagerly opened the garage and tested the temperature of the pipes and tanks and to my dismay they were not warm at all. I think this heater will do much better in an insulated house or room that is much smaller than my big garage. I am not marking this as negative, but wanted to make sure anyone who is looking to keep the chill out of a large space should look into a different heating system as this one by itself can not accomplish it. ... show more
