So: if you're one of those poor souls restoring a Volvo 240 and the rubber wind buffer strip on the very back of your sunroof is cracked and crumbling, this is as close as you're going to get to a replacement. You will have to trim this down a bit to be a bit narrower, but it has the same profile and a similar thickness. It'll work.

Ugh… where to start….. Is it too much to ask for instructions to be sent with an item like this?! I think not… but since they didn’t, let me help you out! •Make sure the side are not too close to the door. I originally applied them so that the “bend” in the rubber would be lined up with where the door meets the jam, but my door didn’t approve of that and protested being closed, repeatedly!! •Having two sets of hands would be beneficial while applying the top strip, purely just to save your shoulders from screaming at you. •The screws caps are nice for concealing the screws, but tighten gently. The screw will easily “strip” the plastic. •Time to install: first time around; 45 minutes….. second time (after removing and redoing the side panels until the door would close properly); 4 hours!!!! —>> I will follow up with more after our Alaskan winter starts. I’m hoping this will help significantly in keeping our garage warmer. <<—

This weather stripping was heavier than I expected, making a good seal around my garage door. It was easy to adhere once I determined where I needed to place it, and so far it's stayed in place. It's winter now, so I'm curious how it will hold up to the summer heat and humidity. However, I needed more than just one roll- most garage door sides are longer than 20 feet- it would be nice if this came in a 32 ft roll.
