NO Tape Required! Easy Peezy. My 16 panels are 20.5 by 42 inches, so these slipped right in it tucked into the metal edge of the panels with 2 inches of extra to facilitate the install. As stated, no tape required. So we will see how they hold up once it gets hot. Its cool in April in Texas so I will update later. (I have foil tape on standby of needed) however I am well pleased on how easy this install was--30 minutes max. My fallback position is to install the Matador thing over this, don't think I will need it tho. Respectfully submitting, Daniel

This made a big difference in being able to have comfort while working in garage. Haven't had any extreme temps yet but was able to warm up garage in an hour vs couple hours and maintain the temp much better as well. I saw many reviews complaining of the tape not sticking and panels falling but gave it a chance anyway, I took my time and properly cleaned the door as stated in instructions and then followed the directions to peel the backing and wait 10 minutes before putting the panels on and have not had one panel fall or come loose in the month since installing. The only difficulty with this is peeling the backing off the tape. Definitely a product I'll recommend to others

Great insulation but the double sided tape included was terrible. Very hard to peel off and thin. You'll be better off using spray adhesive or buying your own double sided tape to minimize your time spent on this project.

When insulating a garage door most of are only temporarily heating or cooling our garage for projects. This will fit the bill for a large majority. The insulation came securely packaged and with bonus gifts. They include excellent instructions and what appears to be a direct phone number to the company. Also their was more double sided tape then I needed and something I forgot I'd need...a super nice gift of a disposable razor. The only other thing I did was foil tape my exterior vertical seams. That was for both draft protection as well as esthetics. I think I will end up wishing I used a better reflective tape, but time will tell. Overall I'm super happy with the product and customer service was super quick in returning my message about how much I'd need. 10 stars from this buyer.

I was skeptical at how good this was going to work for the added thermal protection. I was blown away at the performance. Installation was fairly easy. I used a sharp pair of cutting scissors instead of the box cutter that was supplied. I marked and measured all the panels and cut the panels to fit each section. This process was slow but I think I had all the pieces cut and installed in a few hours. I took my time and worked over a few days. The following weekend we had a dramatic drop in temperature. I used a laser temp gun and acquired readings on several different locations of the garage door. I went from high to low, with the panel installed and without. I was averaging about 15 to 20 degree difference! I would get a reading of 70 on the panel and about 50 on the metal garage door. I went to the local fabric store and picked up some cheap black felt on sale and cut them out to go over the windows in the top rack of the garage door. With the felt installed and the panels in place, you can't tell from the outside. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering it. It has significantly raised the temperature in my garage to make it bearable during the cold winter. I haven't even thought about adding a heater as it is manageable without one so far.

After receiving this item, I wanted to return. Company wanted $54 to do that! Decided to put the crap up. I cleaned garage panels with alcohol. I put more two sided tape than was advised. So far four have fallen off in two days. Several have come off top or bottom, just hasn't fallen off YET. Don't buy it

Panels were delivered and work ok to insulate but the tape provided was low quality and after only a couple months several panels are falling off. I followed instructions and alcohol cleaned surfaces prior to application and used the provided plastic piece to firmly apply. But didn’t seem to take.
