Tricky assembly. Doable but experience with flat box furniture assembly is a must. Tricky assembly. Doable but experience with flat box furniture assembly is a must.

The assembly is not simple. The instructions could be better. BE SURE TO ASSEMBLE IT ON A SOFT SURFACE LIKE CARPET OR A SOFT BLANKET. Otherwise, you may scratch the top during assembly. A power screwdriver with a hex or Allen wrench bit really helps. The Allen wrench included does work but your hands take a beating turning those screws. I was certain it was not going to look good because there are 4 brackets that you have to use on the table top during assembly. The brackets are to keep the 4 “wedge” pieces of the top together. The brackets have 4 holes. The table top only has two pilot holes per bracket. So you either drill a new pilot hole or hope the wood screw bites into the bottom of the table. Mine did bite with me applying downward pressure. But the bracket is not the same as the one in the photo. See my photo. The one on my table had 4 holes and needed 4 screws. Only one of the predrilled pilot holes line up. So it was a challenge to make it work. To be fair I did get all 4 screws in and managed to keep the pieces tight so the table top did not have gaps. That was a challenge too. You need to be handy to assemble this. A power tool helps. Just don’t overtighten. The table looks better than I expected. So that’s good. But the assembly of the top is tricky.
