Genuine review: good for everything besides audio and comp.

Personal really review: The turbo button works as advertised. The arrow and buttons work good along with the movement sticks. The start and share buttons are good with no stick drift so far. I think the back pedals can occasionally get in the way leading to accidental touches but can be excused. The vibration is really good. The main issue with this controller I had is the trigger buttons. The l2 and r2 are decent but have an odd amount of resistance. However the L1 and R1 have a loud clicky and harsh resistance which make it feel really cheap. The next main issue is the audio. With my controller I get a constant grainy buzzing noise when using headphones as background noise wherein PlayStation or ps party that never happens with the original controller. No mute button at first doesn’t seem bad but can get really annoying and an inconvenience. The audio even with audiophile headphones will sound like it’s out a tin can and really bad, maybe due to a lack of power that can’t power higher tier headphones however I highly doubt it as ps5 controller could easily. Another issue is that the controller speaker audio plays through headphones in mono stereo for some reason?? And lastly my volume was always at max and even with minimum volume on the controller it’s extremely loud and awful. Basically, it’s a good xp farming controller or just a turbo button spam. However the buttons would feel awful for competitive play and never use headphones with this controller due to the multiple constant audio issues. Will likely return.

Best offbrand ps5 controller substitute.

I’ve been trying to find a good controller like the PS5’s that I can use for my laptop and as a replacement for my PS5 ones and this one is absolutely the perfect choice. The bumpy grip helms holding onto it and the buttons respond to each press. I feel any lag but you may want to put those spacer rings if you want more resistance. I didn’t even have to set it up, the moment I plugged it in it wirelessly sync’s instantly. I bought two so I have one to travel with.

Ok for light gaming, but not recommended for serious play.

I've had this controller now for about 1-1/2 years. I like the controller for its comfort, vibration intensities, and for everyday use. I play an MMORPG daily, including intensive PVP, and dungeons. What I do not like about this controller is the accuracy, noise levels, and sensitivity in the buttons. The buttons many times do not fire unless you press down really hard on them. You cannot simply light attack anything, or the unit will not fire. After about a year, the R2 button started making a clicking noise like something was catching behind it. I tried contacting the mfg but no response. For everyday light play, this controller is fine for the money, but if you are playing any type of harder game that requires greater levels of accuracy, then do not buy it. The lights are an added bonus, and the fast buttons on the back are ridiculously easy to set, so they are a plus as well.

No stick drift anxiety. It just works

Firstly, based on some reviews other's experience may be totally different. For me, stick drift was starting to get old after 2 replacements of the sony version. Knowing this one will never have that issue is the caveat for me. The pros significantly outweigh the cons 48 hours in and maybe 6 hours of gaming. I have put this thing thru the test through a full charge and it lasted roughly 4 hours. Buttons take some getting used to they are more tactile than the Sony. The rgb lights can be turned off easily to conserve battery. No calibration needed pulling out of box. Connectivity has been seamless thus far. Only con I have noticed is when the game is paused the controller will still rumble if I am playing on the road in cfb 26 or when my match of cod ends and I happened to be getting bombed at end of match it rumbles until we get back to lobby loading screen. All in all, the controller works as intended for my purpose and seems to be made with quality materials. I will update further but posting this in the case that someone may be in my shoes and is on the fence like I was.

I can state with confidence that the Gamrombo LED Wireless Controller is an excellent substitute for the PS5 DualSense after using it for a few weeks. The quality is evident as soon as you take it up. During extended gaming periods the textured grips offer superior control and the ergonomic shape suits my hands flawlessly. The vivid LED lighting, however, is the true show stopper. It is not merely for show. It provides a level of realism that makes playing in a poorly lit room feel even more amazing. It felt as snappy as the original controller but with a distinctive personalized touch. The wireless connection to my PS5 Slim was perfect and instantaneous, with no discernible input latency. The Gamrombo controller's amazing feature set tailored for the die-hard gamer is where it really stands out. For games that demand quick button pushes or intricate command inputs, the macro and turbo features are a huge game changer. I have really benefited in competitive shooters and action role playing games. Additionally, you retain all of the original controller's immersive audio features thanks to the 3.5mm audio port and built in speaker. When combined with the remarkably accurate 6 axis motion control and precise dual vibration, this gamepad offers a comprehensive high fidelity experience that improves every facet of gameplay. The Gamrombo LED Wireless Controller has taken over as my main gaming controller and is no longer merely a backup.

Comfortable, but lacking

The controller I got had issues with connectivity. It would completely lose its connection to the console for a second or so. It wouldn't completely disconnect, but it wouldn't register any input I did during that time. My onscreen character would be locked into whichever direction I was moving in, then it would go back to normal. This happened well over a dozen times, in multiple games. I play within 8 feet of my console, with nothing between the controller and console, not that it should matter anyway. With this issue alone, I couldn't keep the controller. One other thing that made me return it was the D-Pad. It's ultimately less precise than the standard one on the official controller. This is especially noticeable when playing fighting games like Tekken 8 or Street Fighter 6. The expression "The juice isn't worth the squeeze" came to mind several times. Combos that I can pull off consistently on a standard controller wouldn't work as well on this one. That basically took it out of the running for many of the games I enjoy playing, and that really wasn't good. With these faults listed, I do have to say that the controller was comfortable in my hands, and the analog sticks were responsive and worked well with third person shooting games such as Fortnite, and The First Descendant. I also played TMNT: Splintered Fate, and this controller did well when the connection didn't hang/drop. I liked the overall look of the controller as well. If it didn't have the connectivity issue, meaning I could have used it with third person shooters and other games that didn't rely heavily on the D-Pad with no issues, I might have considered keeping it and using it primarily for those games. When you have both connectivity drops and a subpar D-Pad, you really have to look elsewhere. Sorry to report, that's where I'm at. Cannot confidently recommend this controller. If you decide to try your luck, I strongly recommend getting an extended warranty to keep yourself covered.
