Product is delicious, unfiltered, raw and no sugar added. Haven’t been able to understand why some honeys have added sugars. In an effort to give helpful review rather than to just tell you I like it I offer my assessment below. This is my first time purchasing Stakich honey. I used to get raw honey from vita cost but this seemed like a better price and maybe all around better. It tastes pure or like I think honey should taste. It tastes clean. It kind of tasted lemony to me. Maybe the hives are near fruit trees. It’s solid enough to eat with a spoon - has substance to it. - can chew it or let it melt in your mouth. 1-27-2021 We/I still Love this Honey - The Second order arrived with cracked lid and possibly slightly compromised lid. I wish we still had the first jar and will try to fix the lid and will check the seal at that time. Luckily it was not leaking all over inside the package. We will order again and this is great honey but hopefully it is handled better like the first order of it was. 1st Order - Great Flavor, Great Deal, Great Delivery minus USPS box damage however the container inside was fine it arrived quickly and it actually still arrived PERIOD delivered by USPS so WOW! HAHA Michigan Area Honey for those using it to fight infections, etc... By a rule of thumb I say a couple-few states around yours is usually good unless the infection is from out of State. This is part of why honey is classified by region with many companies in my opinion... I suppose local pride could be another reason... Flavor, packaging and value are all good-great minus the second shipment issue. Might have to order this by itself next time to be safer. ... show more

This Stakich honey is my on-line alternative to the 5 lb. jar of unfiltered, raw honey that I was previously buying locally, at The Vitamin Cottage. Unlike the local-access honey, the Stakich honey has no propolis/bee pollen cap, but otherwise, is every bit as quality; thick, cloudy/deep 'honey blond',and very tastey. When TVC upped the price to over $50 for the same-sized 5 lb. jar, I went on-line in search of a more reasonably priced alternative. After trying several, I settled on the Stakich as being every bit as consistently good as the pricier alternative (minus the propolis cap; which some folk would no doubt dislike). The Stakich runs 60% the price of the local alternative; and is delivered free to my door, in a timely fashion (2 day/Amazon Prime). Before settling on Stakich, I also sampled sources from local apiaries. Unfortunately, I found that all the local apiaries I tried catered to the mass market; meaning the honey was heavily filtered, and only available in pricey, smaller jars (the largest being 1 qt. Mason jars). Even with quantity discount (gee gosh wow - a whopping 10%!), it was far pricer to access local apiary honey. There were more flavor alternatives, as the apieries traded product among themselves; but prices remained excessive, across the board. And that doesn't even factor in the time-consuming, long drives (in one case, over 100 mi., round trip) to access such apieries. I've been buying the Stakich product for now near a year - and remain quite pleased. HIGHLY recommended!! ... show more

Awesome! Don't buy it if you want clear yellow honey like you see in the grocery store. This is thick--I'd say rather pasty (technical term is creamy, but it's thicker than that, it will NOT pour)--and incredibly tasty and sweet. By far the best-tasting honey I've ever experienced. It contains pollen, honeycomb bits and propolis (amazing for health), although in a smooth texture. The reason I mention these things is because while it's the dream honey of those who want real health-enhancing products, for those of you who are of the opinion "that ain't the way I always seen it", just go somewhere else. You won't be happy. As for me, I love it! It's the best by far I have ever experienced! I was astounded by Amazon and Stakich: I ordered this well after midnight Saturday night (technically Sunday a.m.) using Amazon Prime. So I'm thinking..."Hmmm...order will get processed on Monday, so I'll get it Wednesday--would love to have it now, but Wednesday is reasonable for 2nd day orders." Right? What would you think? Well...mid-morning Monday UPS arrived with it! What?!!! It was shipped Sunday (from NY, I suppose, to SC), and at my door the very next day, the first business day after ordering! Beating that is just impossible (especially for "free shipping" with Prime)! ... show more
