  • Absolutely Incredible
I've always been hesitant on third party controllers because ive had a few bad experiences with other ones I've purchased. However I was tired of replacing controller after controller after stick drift. The final nail in the coffin was after my custom $180 Elite Series 2 controller started getting sticky drift just shortly after a year from a person like me who only has time to game on weekends. I had seen lots of ads about the Gamesir controllers and figured the idea of the hall effect sticks was intriguing enough to try it. Ill admit, after I placed the order I regret it because of the fear it was going to feel cheap or bad like the other third party controllers I tried but I decided to let it show up and see for myself. And man I am glad I waited. This controller has a fantastic feel in the hands, almost identical to a standard xbox controller or better. My absolute favorite part is the clicky buttons, the best way I can describe it is like a computer mouse. Very satisfying and tactile click that feels so much better than the standard membrane squish. The extra top buttons and back buttons are very nice for games where I feel like I need quick hot buttons. The adjustable triggers is miles better than the elite series 2, instead of just making it feel like its hitting a brick in the elite 2, this turns the triggers into a very quick and precise click. And to wrap it all together the design is gorgeous, the dock is very nice, the wireless works flawlessly, and all the awesome extra goodies you get in the box are the cherry on top of an already amazing price. I will genuinely never buy another controller other than a Gamesir going forward. 10/10 could not recommend it any higher. ... show more

  • Great Replacement to the Elite Series 2
The GameSir G7 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller has been an awesome upgrade for my Xbox Series X. Right out of the box it feels premium, comfortable, and very responsive. The buttons and triggers have a solid feel, and the thumbsticks are smooth and accurate, which makes a huge difference during longer gaming sessions. The wireless connection has been reliable with no noticeable lag, and setup was quick and easy. I also really like the ergonomic design — it feels great in the hands even after hours of gameplay. Battery life has been impressive so far as well. Being officially licensed for Xbox gave me confidence in the compatibility, and it works flawlessly with my Series X. Overall, this controller delivers excellent performance and value, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality wireless controller. ... show more

  • What's not to like?
Bought this after my Razer Wolverine v2 started to have issues with the left thumbstick (press button function, not stick drift). It is a truly a solid controller for those considering it over this controller, but i seen many reviews about the v3 being worse, and the they moved the remappable buttons around, so i decided to give the Gamesir controllers a shot. I've used an Elite Controller, the Razer Wolverine ultimate v1 and v2, a SCUF, and the 8bitdo ultimate controller. The vast majority of the time has been with Razer Wolverine controllers over the last 8 years. So far, I really like this controller. My first order for this controller was actually a dissapointment, the controller's left thumbstick was registering properly and the left trigger vibration motor was not functional. Figured i got a genuine dud, as the reviews for this controller are great. Sent it back reordered and here we are, with a perfectly fine working controller. The remappable buttons are perfect, i was sure if i was going to like the 2 remappable buttons on the backside of the handles (the wolverine controllers had 4 remappable paddle style buttons situated under the battery rather than on the handles themselves) but they feel good and i dont feel like im accidently hitting them like i was with the elite controller. As a bonus, they have locks for those to buttons specifically, so if you dont use them or find yourself hitting them an accident, they have you covered. The amount of thumbstick configurations they include in the kit is nuts, but it is a bastard to remove them the first time. According to the other reviews and videos I've seen, these have some of the best anti-drift thumbsticks on the market, but ive personally never had issues with stick drift with my other controllers. My favorite part about this controller and my old Wolverine v2 was the claw buttons, placed right behind the bumpers/next to the triggers. The claw buttons are naturally right where my fingers rest, so I honestly just assign the bumpers to the claw buttons for ease of use. These buttons alone put this controller at the top of list remappable controllers, as most have back paddles only. The dock is cool, is has dimmable LED visuals for when its in charging, and can even be configured to turn your xbox on when undocking the controller. It also fits inside the included controller case and has a cord passthrough so it can be plugged in while the controller and dock are the case, similar to the case for the 2nd Gen elite controllers. The dock also has a plug for the wireless receiver built into the bottom, so if you play with the dock wired into the xbox/pc/other console directly, you dont also have to use another usb port for the receiver itself. The extras are cool, especially if youre a ZZZ fan. I bought the ZZZ edition for the extra faceplates and thumbsticks, but also because the aesthetic of my desk setup matched this controller betrer than Wuchang Fallen Feathers version. The included keychain is nice and doesnt feel like a super cheap throw in, and its comes with an in game code bonus and a month of gamepass ultimate. The box is huge, probably around 3-4 standard xbox controller boxes worth of space. It is functional though, as the design of the box allows it to act like a small desk shelf for everything that comes with the special edition. The face plates are also compatible with the other versions of this controller which is awesome. Connectivity with wireless receiver is great, havent had a single connection issue. Everything is plug and play, both on the Xbox and on a pc, so you can play immediately without getting into firmware updates, but you can get them for both the dock and the controller via the Gamsir app as long as the connections are wired directly (it wont update the controller wirelessly). It also has a switch for connecting via bluetooth for other devices and consoles, as well a mute button built into the bottom of the controller. Weight wise, it is slightly heavier than my Razer v2, but not enough to cause any notable wrist or hand fatigue. The only other notable difference coming from the Razer v2 is the abxy buttons are not mouse click style buttons, but they are excellent, they trimmed the excess button depth that the standard xbox controllers have, so they still feel quick and responsive. As long as this controller lasts a while, I probably wont be changing my review. 10/10. ... show more

  • King of controllers King of controllers
Hands down the best controller for Pc and Xbox, I have had every controller you can buy for pc, Xbox, PlayStation and switch 2. All the pro controllers, elite controllers, duel sense controllers, turtle beach, 8bitdo, nacon you name it. This is the king of controllers. Perfect size, weight, clicky buttons, very customizable, looks awesome, the box it comes in is amazing, no stick drift ever, comes with a charging dock. Just go buy it. Oh yeah forgot the most important thing, the price is perfect compared to the over priced junk that’s out there. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

  • A much better and cheaper alternative to the elite series 2
I love this controller. It has a really good feel to it and the back buttons are placed nicely and have a lock so you can't accidentally press them. There are also 2 other extra buttons up by the bumpers that can be mapped to any button through the app. All the buttons are clicky like a PC mouse including the triggers when the locks are on. The tmr hall effect sticks are great and have no drift even when the deadzone is set to 0 on the app and if they do give issues it's very easy to re calibrate them through the app. I did have wireless connection issues at 1st with my xbox but once I updated the firmware for the controller and dongle it's been flawless. I like it a lot more than my elite series 2 which had stick issues on 2 of them brand new out of the box. This definitely beats the elite 2 imo. Some people don't like the dpad but idk why because i haven't had any issues. The buttons are all very responsive and the trigger locks are great but theres only 1 setting compared to the 3 different lock levels of the elite 2. It has 4 sets of different joysticks that you can change out and different face plates. It also comes with a month of game pass ultimate. The app is really nice and lets you remap all the buttons as well as adjusting the stick curve and deadzone settings for the sticks as well as the triggers. This controller functions beautifully and cant be beat for its price. It is a bit lighter than the elite series 2 but still feels durable. I would definitely recommend this controller to anyone who likes the feel of the elite series 2 but doesn't want its stick drift and bumper button issues after a month or 2 or sometimes even brand new out of the box like I had with 2 of them.... • The Best Elite Xbox Controller I’ve Purchased. The Best Elite Xbox Controller I’ve Purchased.
I’ve spent a lot of money on Xbox Elite controllers over the years, and unfortunately, I kept running into issues—especially with the bumpers and buttons failing over time. After dealing with that repeatedly, I decided to try the GameSir G7 Pro ZZZ Edition, and honestly, I’m impressed. Right out of the box, this controller comes packed with accessories, and the modular design adds a lot of customization options. You can create different button profiles similar to the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, although the setup process is a little different. Instead of switching profiles with a simple button press like the Elite Series 2, you’ll need to use the app and specific commands to configure everything. It takes a little getting used to, but it’s not a dealbreaker. One feature I really enjoy is the extra programmable buttons. You technically get four additional buttons total: two near the bumpers and two rear paddles on the back of the controller, similar to the Elite Series layout. For competitive or advanced players, that added flexibility is a huge plus. For the price, this controller feels like an incredible value. Unless Xbox significantly improves the durability issues on the Elite controllers, I honestly don’t see myself going back. This version is absolutely worth getting unless an even better model releases in the future. My only real complaints are the limited availability of replacement faceplates and buttons—I’m not sure if they’re just hard to find or simply not widely available yet—and the battery life could be a little stronger. That said, the battery is still good enough to last through a full day of normal gaming. Personally, I rarely play for more than a few hours at a time, so it hasn’t been an issue for me. However, more hardcore players may find themselves charging it more often. I also love the charging dock feature. Being able to place the controller upright on the charger and instantly wake up the Xbox when removing it feels clean, convenient, and premium (you can set it up via the app on your Xbox). Overall, this controller exceeded my expectations. Excellent customization, solid features, great value, and a much better experience than I expected. Highly recommended. 10/10. ... show more

  • Best controller I’ve used in 20 years
Best controller I have put my hands on. Feels premium for the price, and the nexus app is simple to use. I put 4 stars because the one flaw I noticed is that the 3.5mm jack has puts static feedback through the mic when I’m plugged into the controller. If gamesir fixes that on later controllers it would be 5/5. If you are looking for a controller that works well, feels great, and not have to worry about stick drift look no further. Also I might add it is quite odd that my pc registers the controller as an Xbox 360 controller. ... show more

  • The one for WIRELESS XBOX. You want this One!!
I juts for this controller today. Usually don’t leave reviews but for the price this deserves one. I’ve been using my Rog Raikiri which is also a must buy. These TMR Sticks are absolute game changers. We should all be psyched they are finally becoming the go to for our controllers. Gaming is a major hobby so I have all kinds of controllers. On PC I use Razer Wolverine 3 8K and it’s staying on the desk. But this controller is fantastic also. It synchronized with my Xbox immediately when I plugged in the USB dongle. A first for Xbox. Then…and this is a big deal. I downloaded the Gamesir Nexus App on the Xbox App’s. And within minutes had my back buttons and controller set up like my other pro controllers. This is also a first. Absolutely flawless execution between PC and Xbox with the software. The Rog Controller has a few limitations with RGB but also works fine. But..the Rog Controller does not have an app like the Gamesir G7. So if your using This for Xbox only please buy this controller. It’s just as good if not the same quality as the Rog. Maybe even a bit better. It’s a very well made controller. Also it comes with a really nice case, a USB long wired cable, the 2.4 USB Dongle, and SIX extra controller sticks that snap on and off zero issues. So you have your Tall, Short, and Medium Conclave and Domed Sticks. That’s a very big deal and for the price I’m extremely impressed. Important!!! I almost bought the regular Gamesir G7 wireless. However right before I purchased it I realized it’s only WIRELESS FOR PC. The Gamesir G7 Controllers that work wirelessly for Xbox are this Zenless Zone Zero and Fallen Feathers Edition. That’s it. The one here I bought is $129 The Fallen Feather is $99.00 Absolutely worth it. So be careful and don’t purchase the Tri-Mode or another controller thinking it will be wireless with Xbox. Just a heads up. So yes this is a sweet deal. I would buy this again and seriously if I was not so hardcore with my gaming hobby I would get this over the ROG if I was just using Xbox for FPS. I have not purchase a Xbox Elite 2 controller in so long I can’t even remember. The bumpers also broke. You can’t go wrong. It was immediate and easy set up and right away playing a few rounds of Black Ops and I was flying with my back buttons set up etc. The software lets you set up all kinds of options for your sticks, deadzones, and all the other features you would expect. Very easily. But this it’s worth $129 and one if if not the best wireless Xbox controller I’ve ever laid my hands on. ... show more
