I own a small Galanz refrigerator. It wasn't necessarily my first choice; in fact, I had been looking at it for some time while hoping to find one without flammable refrigerant, but finally price dictated my choice. Sometimes, though, when we buy something with trepidation we find that things work out just fine! It's kept my food cold without fuss for a year now, it's relatively parsimonious with electricity, and the refrigerant seems disinclined to leave its cosy closed loop. In fact, I recently bought a second one. Similar factors came into play here -- I might have preferred a larger cooking cavity and a bit more power, but this one's inside volume and 900 watts of radar range zap are more than sufficient to heat up dinner for two. It's small but fairly priced, and if my experience with their refrigerator is any guide, likely to do the job for a good while. Sometimes low-cost products can actually give good value. seems to be a pretty powerful little microwave, at least compared to what we have before. instructions were easy and fairly intuitive. its not overly sophisticated but that's perfectly fine for our needs. it loses a single star because "surf green" is definitely open to a very generous level of interpretation. it is far closer to blue than green (and yes, i double checked the model number, i did receive the "green" one), it'll still work in our kitchen, but be aware if you want green, this isn't it. ... show more

Its got the retro vibe going on and the fact that its compact was perfect for the space it was intended for. All the other microwaves werent small enough for this space. Absolutely love it. We just need to match the rest of the kitchen to it.

I love the way it looks and the smaller size. The directions that come with it are pretty good and they do offer a phone number to call if you need further help. The directions have a lot of cautionary suggestions so I am proceeding very carefully but so far I think I'm getting the hang of it.

When I first plugged in and started the microwave, it had an annoying rattle. But after tightening all the screws that we visible, the rattle went away and it works great. It is not too loud, and sets up pretty quickly.

I am greatly looking forward to getting a replacement as mine arrived with a chip on it. Not sure how or why though as it appeared to be packaged properly. It must have gotten chipped before being put in the box with the packaging. My daughter & an acquaintance of mine LOVE their instances of this very same product & never had theirs arrive with anything wrong with them.
