I had a drain that I needed to replace and didn't feel like doing it the old school way by cutting and hanging with a screwdriver as I knew the drain had been in there quite awhile. This was actually my first time using a drain wrench and I wish I would have bought one years ago. The wrench fit perfectly into the bottom of the old drain and I used a crescent wrench on it to turn the old drain out. And that drain came out surprisingly easily using this drain wrench. Got the bathtub drain out which is all I could ask for. It does feel a little cheap, but it worked fine. I'm not a plumber so I only need it very rarely. Great price for the product.

No, I literally broke my toe trying to get the drain out of my bathtub. Years of paint and epoxy had sealed the drain into the tub. I used this tool with a screwdriver and my foot for leverage to get the drain out. Needless to say, it worked, but I broke my toe in the process.
