This plug worked okay for about 3 months. When we installed this plug into our trolling motor we triple checked our connections to make sure they were secure. They were. After about 3 months of use I noticed on a trip where were signs of melting on the female end. Didn’t use the motor again for the day just to be safe. Opened up the mail end and saw this. Completely melted my wire and became a fire hazard. The connections worked themselves out and got so hot as a result that it melted it. Very unsafe. I do not recommend.
