This is a nice coffee bar set, but it’s a bit too high for what it is. Especially considering it comes with ZERO instructions of any kind. Those two things knocked a star off. It’s packaged nicely and would make a nice gift, assuming you were giving it to someone who knew what everything was and how to use it. Yeah, you can google how to use each thing, but you shouldn’t have to, especially at this price. I have it in my coffee bar area. I tested most of it out. The shaker is decent quality. So is the sugar sifter. Actually, all the metal items feel and look pretty nice. The stencils are about what you would expect. The latte art pen seems flimsy to me. I haven’t had time to work on using it yet, so we’ll see. I have a nice electric frother that I use, but this one is about on par with most of the little handheld plastic frothers. I am looking forward to things getting to a place here where I have a little time to play with this. I love having all my coffee gadgets at home. We live in a rural area and don’t have access to really good coffee shops, and I like having my cappuccino, latte, etc. I’m looking forward to having them decorated with more than my big frothy milk. So far, though, as you’ll see in the picture, that time hasn’t come yet LOL

When I got this I thought it would be fun to learn how to make espresso and be able to make the designs on the top like you see in videos. I was excited the day it came however my excitement quickly turned to frustration because there were no instructions with this item. There are some items I have never seen and never used. Makes it hard to use when I have to look up videos to do so. I wanted to give this item as gift but not without the instructions on use. Everything is made very nicely and with good products but I can’t give this as a present now. Very disappointing.

This kit was complete as pictured. The issues were mostly with the frother, it isn't that easy to clean and doesn't really have the power to blend or froth cream. It is a cute set, the measuring spoon is perfect for filling up the reusable kcups. The sharker actually will come in handy during the holiday season. The teas steeper is perfect for lose leaf teas.

There are plenty of gadgets for you to become familiar with. This is an incredible set that can help bring your barista endeavors to new heights. These gadgets can add nice touches to your drinks but it may not be obvious as to what they are and how to use them. The product description on Amazon is clear and obvious for some of them. You may need to refer to the illustrations to tell you what the component is and how to use it. The product description and corresponding illustrations should help you with these items: milk frother, coffee tamper with a matching Nespresso pod refill capsule, and the mechanical coffee scoop with built in funnel. Accessories that may need more explanation may include these: Powder Shaker: can be filled with coffee, cocoa, creamer, or cinnamon. The shaker can be an important component of decorating coffee and deserts. For example, put a paper or board over half the cup so only half get the power. Then use a fine point like on a cooking thermometer to draw patterns like half heart shapes across it onto the other and back again. The shaker is an important part in decorating when using the included stencils. Stencils: can be used both before and after the applications of milk or froth or in conjunction with the powder shaker. There is so much than can be done here with the stencils so you may want to do a web search on learning more about "how to use coffee stencils" for ideas and know how information. Latte art pen: I had to do some research here to figure out how to use it. Look on the side and you'll see a battery compartment tab. Open it. You'll see a cavity area next to the batteries. That is where you load your "ink" being foam, chocolate syrup, or other editable liquid ingredient. You can use a small spoon for that purpose. There is a button near the spout that pumps out your ink to decorate your cup of coffee or desert. Again, you'll find a lot of information on the internet should you do a search on "How do I use a latte art pen."

The presentation of the box is divine. I can't complain about that. None of the items were broken or had any issues. However, I searched in the box and to my surprise no instructions or book or any information on what these items are or how to use them. So, I tried to make a latte with my new machine and wanted to do one of the stencils. I thought I could guess with what was in the box but failed. If I was giving this out as a gift to someone like me, new to all of this they will have no idea or clue. I came back to this page just to understand what was in the box, but now have to go to another website to learn how to use some of them. For a pretty presentation kind of shocked.

My opinion and review is based on starting my journey in this barista endeavor. Having said this, I think this barista set is not only beautiful, but it is very well made and gift-able. This set can be used by a beginner (like myself) all the way up to a professional, especially because of its quality and value. This set will definitely give you/me all the tools we will need (and then some) to start to hone our skills in getting the most out of that coffee bean and our barista machine!! Definitely 5 stars and I highly recommend it……remember, Christmas is just around the corner!!!!
