    • Gets the job done
What bothered me about this item the most is that it was poorly packaged and can be left out there in the freezing cold/blistering heat and that may affect its performance once u install it. The original packaging is the type that u can open and close anytime so I would not classify it as Sealed. The RAM sticks are secured inside the packaging but it can be resold as supposedly "New". The only thing I felt good about it is that the stickers on the RAM told me they were manufactured in October 2021, and I bought them in November 2021 but even then that doesn't guarantee anything, so u have to kind of just believe that ur not being taken for a fool. After thinking that I broke my computer because I did the BIOS update everyone recommends (my computer would not take me to the start screen anymore, it was stuck in some type of recovery mode) the XMP profile finally showed that these were indeed 3600 but u may get an error that they are 2600 or something of the like, like I did. I'm more of a software guy (not hardware) so I took me a bit longer than it should have to get these RAM sticks going. If u install them as u should (read as many reviews as u can to understand the process) (unless u know exactly what ur doing) they are pretty plug and play. Good luck. ... show more

I bought 2, 32gb sticks, but was delayed getting to install them. When I did install them I found they were DEAD. Because I was delayed I ran past AMAZON's return period. I called GSkill support, explained the situation and got a RMA #. The whole return and exchange took only 13 days from the time I first called GSkill to the time the replacements were installed in the new build, which included shipping by ground from California to the East coast. The sticks are running at 3600 and no hickups so far. ... show more

Make sure you enable XMP to run it at its rated 3600mhz but it runs great and it’s such a high capacity in two slots only. Easily upgradable to 128 in the future and a good value for 64. Will definitely buy another 2 sticks at some point.

    • 2666mhz without overclocking, DOCP to 3600mhz ok
i understand that there are a lot of factors that goes into mobo/cpu determining the default speed for ram sticks. i got 4 of these guys on ryzen 5950x + asus rog strix x570-e gaming wifi ii, and by default it only goes up to 2666mhz, though i can easily overclock it to 3600mhz easy enough. the only comparison i can make is with the corsair vengence rgb RT 2x32gb sticks, those guys have the same latency, same 3600mhz rating, and when i plugged those in i got a default speed of 3200mhz, which is the cpu default limit. this makes me think that these ram sticks, however good for value, is justtt slightly inferior and feels very marginally less snappy ... show more
