  • Good For Ryzen 3000 Builds
Ryzen 3000 (Zen 2) has a "sweet spot" for RAM that a) runs Samsung b-dies and b) runs at 3.6ghz or higher. This kit satisfies both of those things. They're also $15-$20 cheaper than the Corsair Vengeance sticks of the same speed. Manually enter the timings instead of using DOCP (if you have a Ryzen machine) and enjoy! ... show more

  • Fast RAM,but horrible customer support.
Let me first say that this RAM is fast and performs good right out of the box after setting DOCP in bios to 3600 mhz. With that being said,I can say that without a doubt this was one of the worst customer service experiences from the seller AND Gskill that I have ever had. My RAM arrived from Amazon and once installed, it booted up right away fine. Set 3600 in bios and it was up and running. The RGB lit up and after the windows install on a new rig,I started to play around with the lighting on the RAM in software and that's when I noticed a problem. It was too hard to tell from the factory rainbow pattern on startup, but once a solid color was chosen,I noticed it was dark on the end of one of the sticks. I swapped the ram around slots and it followed the stick. I took the stick out and looked closer to see the SMD LED was hanging off of the board on the stick. I looked closer at the packaging for the RAM and noticed the box had rub marks on one end. I assume the RAM was smashed during shipping or maybe at the warehouse. I contacted the seller and they told me to contact Gskill or buy another set from him and then swap out the bad sticks and return them for a refund. Why should I tie up more money for a damaged product? Contacted Gskill and they told me the same thing. Buy more RAM from the seller and swap them out. Weirdest response I ever got from a company in regard to a return. They refused to just RMA it out right. I gave up and just use it with an led out for now. I wont be buying Gskill again. I've been using crucial RAM for years and never had an issue. Will be getting some Crucial when it's on sale again. ... show more

  • Will not run at 3600Mhz
Bought the 3600mhz ram but went to bios and it registers only as 2133 and will only overclock to 3000mhz if lucky.

  • Bricked my system.
Well, I was really looking forward to this ram, until I had installed it. It immediately started causing errors and blue screens so I tried dialing in the settings in bios and mem tests and kept crashing so now its bricked my system to a perpetual bsod loop before windows even loads. Even after trying to reinstall my old ram, cant reinstall Microsoft either, waiting on the phone to talk to microsoft to see if there any thing I can do to fix it. Update. After all this I removed my m.2 and installed windows on a separate drive to boot from and after reinstalling the m.2 to try to repair it, bsod cycle started again. That drive is done. Talked to gskill customer service and they are willing to rma the ram but say I'm out of luck on the dead $100 drive their product destroyed. ... show more

  • They work
You want 5 rgb lights? You gottem. You want a sharp look? You got it. How about 16gb of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY?!? You bet your booty these have it. Wanna know what these have that you didn’t know you wanted? LOW CLEARANCE!!! That’s freaking right. When you go to install your big booty air cooler into your rig the first thing you’re gonna notice is that it freaking fits. And if you’re this person who’s burying them anyway who cares about shiny amr? Unlink other taller shiny ram sticks *cough*vengeance pro*cough* these sleek puppy’s sit right under a Noctua NH-d14. Bottom line: these work as advertised. Bonus round: short bright shiny and fast P.s. posting a picture of them under an air cooler seems silly ... show more

  • Wouldn't run @3600 but it looks good
Looks great, Price was good, better than the 3600@16 kit and I figured with I was using this with an Intel build it wouldn't be that noticeable. Used this with an MSI Z390 Pro Carbon Gaming motherboard & i5 9600k. On first boot I set the xmp to 3600 (did default to 2133, which is no different from other brands 2133-2400 is usually default) and got windows installed. After a day of use I kept getting a BSOD. I started thinking it was a GPU driver issue, but after running mem test, discovered that the issue was this RAM. This will not run @ 3600 even going in and manually entering the timings. I got it stable at 3200 mhz with manual setup. So I say minus a star or 2 for no xmp & only hitting 3200mhz. But not a deal breaker It wasn't worth the headache of requesting a replacement and waiting for days over 400mhz ... show more

  • Go with corsair
Much like everyone else I was only able to luckily OC the ram to 3000mhz, I tried 3600 and pc wouldnt even boot, then 3200 still wouldnt boot, now here's the kicker I turned on the XMP which put the ram auto in 3600 and it seemed to work fine for a while, then all of the sudden once in a while my pc would randomly reboot, after a few months of this I got sick of it and turned off the xmp which I know was causing the problem and just settled for 3000mhz, but so yea I would not recommend this ram, looks great and all but does not run as advertised, mind you I have a beastly PC too ... show more

  • Great product for the price.
I really like the value for the price. Even though there is a 3866 kit here is what toms hardware notes "Sandra Memory Latency shows that DDR4-3600 CAS 16 is quicker than DDR4-3866 CAS 18". although "T-Force modules are priced competitively to the overall market" i am not familiar with this brand and product support. It looks great on the motherboard with the rgb. overall i am not disappointed with my purchase just wish i purchased more while they were on sale. ... show more
