These shorts seem to be exactly what I wanted. I'll be using them for sailing and hiking. I definitely agree with other reviews that they run small. Size up at least one size. The fabric is stretchy, so there is definitely some give to them. I ordered navy and just ordered another in khaki.

These shorts are very cute and comfortable. The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is for the fit. I would size up one if you have any sort of a tummy. I purchased large and while they fit they are a little snug in the stomach area. I'm 5'6 and the length was perfect.

Nice fabric, color, and craftsmanship; however, the size runs quite small. I usually wear XL or XXL and the XXL that I received is WAY too small. Guess I need to lose some weight so so can wear them....15 pounds oughta do it. 😂

The material is soft and very comfortable. I like the length and fit of the shorts, but their are a few threads that were loose and that makes me feel like they may not last many washes. Like them overall and low cost, so not super upset about quality but that's why only 4 stars.

I wear mediums or size 6 at Gap and Target, occasionally Size 8. A few comments recommended ordering a size up so I got a Large. The Large is skin tight. I don’t even think the XL would fit comfortably enough to sit on a boat or walk around on the beach and would probably get the XXL to be safe. I will likely see if my 12 year old niece wants the Large. Pros: The material is stiff and doesn’t sag when they’re wet. The pockets are huge and flat! My massive iPhone fits nicely even though the shorts themselves are small.

Exactly what I was looking for! I did size up since it was recommended and glad I did! 10/12 and ordered an XL. I probably could have gotten by with a large but might have been more snug in seat.
