They were ships quickly. Very easy to assemble if you are at all familiar with setting up drums. Could be a little confusing if this is your first kit of any kind. The cage is sturdy. They actually sound pretty good. They are a little small but not a big deal. I’d say they are a good value for the money. I got them for my son and he loves them.

The media could not be loaded. For less than 300 bucks, this is a wow drum set. Lots of metal, beautiful construction, great instruction manual, amazing features like sound adjustment and metronome. Does require extensive assembly, but the manual made it fun. Great set

What I like: * mesh heads feel good * comes with everything you need to start playing (headphones + throne) * easy to set up * the samples are good enough and there's enough variation to have fun This kit has been lots of fun. A few decades ago, I started playing drums in 3rd grade and have played in a few rock bands in my 20s. I've moved on to other instruments, but figured it might be fun to have another drum kit at home for impromptu jam sessions. It isn't the greatest it - it doesn't feel as "Pro" as my Roland drum kit (fit and finish feels a bit more plasticky, less rugged) but it's light, and sounds surprisingly good. All of the drum triggers do their job. For the price, it's a pretty nice new drum kit - low price of entry to get started as an adult or child learner, or if you're a seasoned drummer who just wants something to "quietly" practice on.

This drum set was super well-packaged, had very clear assembly instructions, and was very easy to put together. It took me probably about half an hour from opening to box to having the set fully assembled, and it came with an awesome hex-head assembly tool wrench thing that I really wish all ikea and mail order furniture came with because it made putting this together super easy. Once assembled, the set was easy to use. It has a built-in metronome with adjustable speed and time signatures, and a solid pair of headphones with a good range of volume. The stool is pretty good and the entire set is adjustable so you could probably set it up for a wide range of people to play on it (from a kid to a tall man). It is also pretty darn quiet, unless you're hitting the sticks on the plastic rims of the drum pads instead of the mesh in the middle, but even then I think it would be very hard to hear any noise from someone playing it with the headphones on from the next room. It's a great option for a family with an aspiring drummer that just wants a little peace and quiet.
