I waited a long time to be able to get some kind of fencing for my dogs...I looked at a lot of different options most of which would require me to have help to install. I do not have help. I wanted to be able to do it myself with the option to add on or even move it around. I settled on the FXW Rollicking playpen 40". Everyone kept saying they are going to jump it...so far so good and we are training against that happening. It did arrive with some damage to several of the panels as well as the wire being slightly bent on one of them. I have no idea why the one part was so scratched maybe from rubbing together in the box? The paint was a bit chipped on several of the rods as well. None of this affects how the fence works! The box was not damaged however. I waited so long to be able to get something I did not want to return it and needed to get it up asap! I am having issues with neighbors who let their dogs out without leashes as well as children approaching my dogs which I do not want. My dogs are very good with my great grand children as they know them. It has also been great when I have the girls over to be able to keep them a bit closer!! This is the first time in 6 years that the dogs have been able to be out without being on a tie out! I did keep them on for the first day or so within the fence but after several days it seems they are fine without the tie outs attached. I blocked the open area under the RV with a metal trellis I had and also ended up attaching part of that at the end of the fence which you can see in the last photo. (if they load). I am stationary in a campground this really helps!! My neighbor across the way saw it and came over to find out where did you get that. They have a toddler that they want it for...all and all I am very satisfied 4 stars due to the damage. It is sturdy where I was able to pound the stakes into ground with a rubber mallet but I cannot get them into the gravel. That has nothing to do with the fence itself but the lot I am on! I hope to possibly purchase additional panels to enlarge the space. The issue with that is mowing the grassy area!! ... show more

I first ordered these panels to make a puppy enclosure for my new lab. She outgrew that so I used them to enclose the flower beds around the pool fountain. And then she discovered the pool. I moved the panels to block the steps because that's all she was brave enough to use to jump in. I wouldn't have minded her getting in the pool but she would go after the chlorine floater and the vacuum hose. It took about a month before she figured out how to jump from the edge. She likes biting at the bugs that float in the water. I went ahead and ordered three more sets. There is a total of 5 sets around the pool. I know I could have trained the dog to not go in the pool, but I also plan to start using the solar cover to heat the pool for the grandkids. I can't imagine how sick I would be if I came home and found my dog dead because she jumped in and got tangled in that cover and drowned. I like these panels so much more than traditional pool fencing that is the mesh fabric that you have a hard time seeing through. Kids and dogs can't climb under them, they're so easy to relocate, you don't have to drill holes in the deck. They don't fall over and best of all you have no problem seeing if something is in the pool. The most impressive part is the quick shipping. I was given a delivery date of July 3-5. Pros: - The pen is much sturdier than most dog exercise pens. - It looks great! - It was very quick and easy to set up. - The posts pushed into the ground far enough to make it fairly sturdy. - The door panel works well and is very convenient. - Each panel is totally separate, which makes it very flexible to configure. I ordered 2 sets. One area where I set it up used more than 8 panels, the other area used less, so it worked out perfect. Cons (see photos): - the posts are VERY tightly zip tied to the fence panels. It was almost impossible to cut the ties without damaging the finish on the posts. It would be better if the posts were wrapped separately. - Even before I worked at cutting the zip ties, I saw damage to the finish on the posts. - A couple of the panels had some damage to the finish. Overall, it was a good purchase. This pen works much better for my dog than the more flimsy options that I've seen elsewhere. The flexibility of having separate panels was a huge plus for me. The fact that it looks good is a bonus. A bit worried, though, that the spots with damaged finish will rust over time. ... show more

This worked out perfectly. I needed to block off one area of my room from some visiting dogs. I used some of panels, which worked perfectly for what I needed, and then even used some of the leftover panels in another location. I love that the panels are not heavy, so if we take them with is on trips it won't be a burden. Putting the panels.tohether and taking them apart is a breeze. And nothing to pinch your fingers, not even the door latch. I bought the caps to protect the floor foe inside use. Brilliant! And removable if we do use it outside while traveling. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could...especially for the price. Would look to this company in the future. ❤️ ... show more

I like how versitile this product is. I use one or two sections to block off areas on my house and several in a square to keep my dogs contained in the kitchen while I'm away. Even my Chihuahua can use the gate. I like that it stands by itself. Other sectional kennels I've used have to be propped up or risk falling on the dogs if they jump on them. These stand by themselves if you connect 3+ together. I do have to say the gate seems easy for the dogs to pop, but I have an escape artist. I've just been taking the pin out from between two pieces and using a whole section as a gate. It takes no time at all to put back together.
