Purchased for new puppies that will grow from 2.5-9 pounds. Gates were very well packed. Instructions seemed easy, until finished and several gate panels were cockeyed.. so took apart gain and started over… there is a right side and wrong side to assembly.. to get bottom flat on floor. Like puzzle, play with pieces front and reversing front to get pieces to sit flat on floor and from (the right side).. (hint. The hinges should not touch when finished and sitting on floor. If hinges are touching each other,..one panel is “wrong side”..flip around and try again. Same with putting gate on. If gates don’t side easy together with two panels (or hinges are touching). Turn whole gate inside out.. and try get again..it will slide together east.. (right side and wrong side mentality).. See picture to see natural hinge space.. Once together is good gate and stable. No real instructions for panel side installation.. The extra parts in bag… Are just that.. the extra parts. We used the square rubber pieces to cover the pole ends. (1) because they fit, (2) because we could use them for extra floor protection. (3) actually reduces movement in side panels as rubber locks in panels. See picture 3. I’d love to see few send extra for this purpose. More secure and better protection on floors. The square pieces are actually extras for panel feet. And the round rubber ones fit the bottom of pole. Ps: I bought the pole protectors (for 9.75), designed for “playpen gates”. They did not fit this gate. I sent back… ... show more

I purchased the 32" high/ 8 panel doggie playpen. There are so many reasons why I believe that this was the most important purchase for my new puppy. Number one on the list of reasons: my sanity. It is easily put together and can fit many transfigurations that meet your space requirements. Puppies are inquisitive and can be quite destructive even though they are absolutely adorable-those little sharp teeth can do a lot of harm. This playpen has been a lifesaver for me and my new pup. It gives her freedom to move and play and is open and airy. I have it set up in my kitchen/dining room on my tile floor which is why it is filled with a few blankets to give her a warm spot to cuddle up in. Bottomline: I am so glad that I made this purchase for all of the reasons listed above and highly recommend this to anyone who is getting a puppy. Also, the height and sturdiness of this product lends itself to continued use during my puppy's growth. ... show more

It's rare that a product I order online exceeds my expectations, but I love everything about this dog pen - can't find a single thing to complain about. It is sturdy, well-packaged, takes minutes to assemble, looks nice in our living room, is almost infinitely adjustable for your space, and is inescapable by our puppy! I did make one small modification - the door has 2 latches, requiring two hands to open, which I think is a great feature especially if you have small children, but we decided that one was sufficient to contain our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel puppy, and it makes it easier to get in and out to clean up puppy messes. So I just took a plastic zip tie and looped it in the hole that's created when the bottom latch is open, so the bottom lock stays open and we only need to use the top one. If I ever decide we need both locks, I'll simply cut off the zip tie. ... show more

This is the best playpen I have ever seen. So easy to put together and it looks great. You don't see many products that are of this quality. The rods that hold the sections together are so much better than screws and hinges which loosen and wear out. A lot of thought went into this design. No tools needed and it goes together in a couple of minutes. It could be easily taken apart and stored when necessary. I am really glad that we purchased this playpen. We are leaving the door open a lot and our puppy likes to spend time inside of it with all his toys. He seems to think that it is his special place. This is one great product! I ordered the 8 panel, 32" height pen, white. My dog is 15 lbs. Purchased it following her surgery. Instructions were there, but definitely not necessary. A 4-year old could put this thing together, which is what you want. Steel was a bit flimsy, but still beats plastic, and for the price, I thought it was more than adequate. Like it way better than a traditional crate because it's open at the top, and I thought my dog would feel less cooped-in. I assembled it in a circular pattern which measures 68" in diameter. Gate has 2 latches, when you really only need 1, so I just taped 1 latch open. Very glad I purchased this pen, and I hope I've given others enough of a description to make up their minds. I feel the price of this was easily worth it. She has to be in here for 6 weeks, so I wanted those 6 weeks to be as stress-free as possible. ... show more

This product is perfection. Was looking for a pen to replace an older one I had. There are so many things I liked about this product. Firstly the rubber feet on all the parts that come into contact with the ground have made it so there is no scratching my floors. Secondly, I love that the gate is low to the ground so my small dog doesn’t have to jump so high to get out like my old gate. The quality of this product is excellent. Sturdy and well made. Lastly it’s just the right size. I ordered the 24 inch 6 panel and it’s the perfect size I was looking for. No more doubling up panels to have to make it fit the space. Highly recommend this product.
