I purchased this specifically for the dance mat option but my kids also really enjoy the other options this machine brings. 15 years ago my husband and I really enjoyed the PS2 dance dance revolution game and I was searching around to get another. I came across this one and purchased. My kids really enjoyed the TV games and they are practicing on the dance mat to get better. It is a little difficult for our 6 year old but she is getting the hang out it. We had a birthday party last weekend and the kids brought it out and had a blast. The yoga is pretty cool too, it actually shows you how to do the poses and stretching. For the cost it was definitely worth it. I haven't downloaded any additional dances but excited that there is the option to add to the songs to dance to. If I could improve anything, the characters could be dressed more appropriately for young kids. I know this is common with these type of dance games though.

We got this for my son’s bday. We decided to give him one substantial gift, instead of bunch a smaller ones. Imagine our disappointment when camera operated games didn’t work. Everything else did, and was fun to do, but my son was super disappointed that camera didn’t work. So, I wrote to the seller and got a response the same day. They apologized and sent a brand new console (the mat was working fine), but we had the same problem. I wrote to them again and they replied swiftly again, and sent another new console, which they tested first, to make sure everything was working fine. They even included a great little gift, to apologizing for the inconvenience. I was very impressed with the speed of response, speed of replacement arrival and thoughtfulness of the extra gift. I could have asked for a refund when I discovered camera wasn’t working, but these things happen with electronics sometimes and the system itself really is great and soooo much fun, I’m so glad I didn’t. It keeps my son (and me) moving in a fun way (which is great when you live in a rainy area) and there are just so many things to do on it. I’m definitely happy with my purchase.

I bought this for christmas to play with my 7 year old daughter. We've only danced on it for 6 songs and we tested all the "contoller games." I paid $239.99 for the black one and I feel that it's a bit overpriced (Christmas mark up). Cons •The actual mat does NOT look like the display mats. The mat quality appears sturdier in the display pictures than what you actually get. The stitching around the edges seem sturdy but it feels like it needs to have stitching around each of the foot buttons so the top and bottom of the mat don't rub together. •The foot buttons miss steps when dancing sometimes but I'm not trying out for "Dancing with the Stars" •I wish that there were more songs. It does say you can add more but there is a chance the dance arrows won't match the music, we haven't tried yet. •Personally it took us a little to long to get used to the handheld controllers. But that comes with trying any new gaming controller. •I would like there to be a setting available to turn off or down the background music on the main screen. At one point the background music was still playing when u was trying to listen to the preview dance song. Pro •As a parent, my Favorite feature is the ability to detach the disco lights and still have a functioning console. •I love that the mat is cordless. It makes it so much easier to store it away. I will update again after it gets some more use out of it.

I've always wanted a dance game and found this online. My kids aged 13 and 6 both enjoy it - as do I. Good selection of songs without needing to download more, but like that there's an option to. It's still a bit tricky for my 6yo, but the 13yo is enjoying it. She had a few friends over for a sleepover and they enjoyed it a lot. The ones not dancing (2 at a time on mat) were dancing and singing too. A friends mom reached out and asked me for details she wanted to get it too. So it's a hit and it works well.

Got this for my 5 year old daughter as a gift and she loves it! Setup was easy and everything worked! The mat syncs with the TV and the games are played with ease. Keeps my daughter entertained for hours. I have been playing it as well it is a great way to exercise while having fun. Would recommend!

My daughter got this for her birthday and loves it! She is not a huge gamer but she has a blast showing off her coordination and whooping her dad, brother and myself :) There are different levels so you can take it slow at first until you get your confidence up to try one of the more difficult ones. I would recommend this product since it's a win win.....a video game for the kids that also gets them moving!
