abunda_amazon_reviews Tested a similar product made by 3M and reviewed a few years ago. That "splint" was bulky, heavy, and uncomfortable. Glad to see significant improvements have been made. This product is comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time, yet stabilizes the wrist/hand well enough that almost instantaneous relief was felt as soon as it was put on without even any adjustment--yet. Once the Velcro straps were adjusted for maximum comfort, could feel the throbbing ache go away immediately, and the thumb was stabilized enough that I could reach for and hold onto things (like the all-important coffee mug) hadn't been able to do in days. Greatly appreciate and recommend this product! And, it seems it's now one-size-fits-all, another great improvement over past versions that made you measure and were a real hassle to discover the "correct" size to buy.;;Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;WORKS...And Incredibly Comfortable;;Sally Lycke;;;The brace has a removable metal bar so it can be ambidextrous. The problem with it is that this bar is about 1/4" shorter that the pouch it slides in to, presumably so it can be easily removed without too much effort. This ease of removal however also allows the bar to poke out of the slit and dig in to your arm. I am frequently having to adjust the bar to push it back all the way in to its pouch. I can probably fix this by sewing the slit shut, however I really shouldnt need to do this. This could have been avoided with a better product design.;;Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2019;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Metal bar digs in to your arm;;Matt;;;I've been wearing these to bed, and occasionally at the keyboard, off and on for over a year. They're very comfortable, and help with the worst of my wrist pain. They don't immobilize, but do offer support. They do a great job of keeping my wrists from being bent at all sorts of fun angles while tossing and turning in bed. The velcro will wear out over time (hence my replacement purchase). I've found it's better just to leave the velcro attached at all times, and slide it on and off my wrist. There's just enough elasticity.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2016;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Comfortable;;Matt;;;I'm putting this on at night because I twist my right wrist inside during sleep. This wrist brace is really comfortable and I sleep all night without even feeling it. I also don't need to make it tight because it has this metal part inside (which comes out if you don't want it, although it's very good for stability) and so the brace is not tight on my hand, and still holds my wrist firmly thanks to the metal part. Today I fell asleep without it, and woke up again, with my wrist twisted in, so this wrist band is a must for me and I'm really happy I chose this one, I think I will see improvement in my wrist pains, and I will finally stop twisting it, after using this band for a couple of months or so;;Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2016;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;I recommend;;K;;;Overall I think this brace is very good. It helped stabilize a broken left wrist very well. Where it falls down is the lack of padding around the thumb hole, the stitching there ends up quite painful, and rubs raw the skin between the thumb and forefinger. Wadded-up tissue, particularly moisturized tissue, helps. Another issue is that with a recently broken wrist, it is impossible to put this brace on without modification, because the sleeve is too tight. The elastic part of the sleeve can be cut with scissors to allow the brace to be wrapped around the wrist. I can confirm it is machine washable.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2018;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Needs some changes to be more comfortable.;;ROBERT S CREW;;;Does the job, helps with my wrist pain due to tendinitis. I like that it's reversible, too many of them aren't. However, it doesn't beat the original Futuro Reversible Splint that I've retired after years of use. The original conformed much better to my wrist even when I first got it, possibly because it wasn't one-size-fits-all like this one. Point is, this one still works well enough when needed, so, worth the buy.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2017;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;Decent Product, Decent Price;;SLM;;;This is probably one of the most comfortable and effective braces I've used for carpal tunnel. Unfortunately, the strips that attach to the velcro all unraveled and came off. I had to sew them back on myself. For the price I paid, its annoying and it started happening literally within 30 minutes of wearing it the first time.
