Completely useless low quality piece of crap. It has no power to cut through even 1/4" lucite and failed after 45 seconds. It is powered by a tiny DC motor that runs on 12 WATTS! Here's a photo of the piece of lucite that I tried to cut before it failed. All of the similar looking mini table saws on Amazon are from the same cheap manufacturer in Hangzhou China. ALSO, Amazon lied -- as is the case 100% of the time -- when they said that it would be delivered the next day. This manufacture, this product, and Amazon were perfect accomplices in a sad scam that I expected but hoped would not be the case. Buy a mini table saw that runs on AC electricity for any hope of a useful product. ... show more

Terrific tabletop saw! I'm thoroughly happy with this product. As the description reads, it's a hobby saw. The base unit measures 7.5 inches by 5.5 inches, a tad bit larger than a 5x7 picture frame, and the saw blade is only about 2.5 inches in diameter, so you shouldn't be expecting to remodel a kitchen or building a house with it. That's what full-size table saws are for. For those who are looking for a compact, handy little saw that you can use for small jobs like cutting balsa wood, thin metal, wooden dowels, copper tubing or sheets, plastic, or even thin stainless steel, this is perfect. I used it to cut across a 2.5mm thick piece of stainless steel with no problem at all. it was quick, easy, accurate and left a clean, straight cut. The saw arrived well-packaged, and includes everything needed to get started. There is minimal assembly required, which took all of ten minutes and instructions are included. Also included are cutting guides, wrenches for assembly, a plastic cut guard, and a brush for clearing wood, plastic and metal shavings. Of course - and the directions clearly state this - you may have to purchase additional blades if the materials being cut require something other than the one provided, but this should not be difficult. The design is simple and uncomplicated, and it functions exactly as I expected. For the price of $44 and some change, this is a great value. It's a great addition to my workshop. ... show more
