I paddle with a dragon boat team and silicon grip tape is a must for our paddles. Without it the paddles are slippery and it’s hard to get a good solid grip. This tape is so easy to apply and stays put one you get it where you want it. It offers a much better grip without being sticky or bulky. It lasts a decent amount of time, for me usually a season or two as long as I take care of it and avoid letting it get bumps and cuts. I love that it came in blue too because it matches the design on my paddle. There are brand name versions of similar tape and its really just the same thing for double or triple the price, so if your looking for some great grip tape but do not want to pay name brand price, this is a great option!

Good product, just like in the description and definitely stretchy, grippy and sticks to itself. I had NO trouble putting this on. Here are two tips: dry wipe off the dust first, and when you are starting the wrap prestretch it and don’t expect to have it wrap too tightly for the first two wraps around. I did find that getting about a foot of the clear stuff was my limit before it got in the way amd I cut it off to keep wrapping the black portion around. The only weird thing about this is that the roll had three separate pieces on it, such as what you would get if the source roll ran out in the middle of making this roll. One would be acceptable, but two is weird and made it awkward. That resulted in a rather short piece at the center of the roll and you can sort of see that in the big pic on the right side of the steering wheel where I worked around the rightside “spoke”. I included the little pic to show how well it sticks to itself, almost like electrical tape but without the adhesive undercoating.this def sticks to itself so be careful anout twists although you can use a nail to sort of scrape along the length of the tape to reseparate the lightly stuck bits. If it gets dusty and loses grip, just hose it or wipe it off. Recommended!

Yeah, seems like an oxymoron. But really. Self fusion tape is fantastic when you need to get some grip on something but don't want to have a messy, sticky residue when it gets warm or you take it off. It adheres to itself without glue. So wrap around until it is on itself and it is stuck until you pull it off. I've used it to attach switches to my handlebar and it's great.

I use this for my home gym equipment - it is the best for it. But, this is a really useful product and an excellent thing to have around the house. It is durable - much more so than tapes like hockey tape or duck tape. It's more gripey than other products too - this makes it perfect for pull up bars. My only beef with it, well 2 beefs, is that 1) because it has a plastic liner, it makes applying it to some things more difficult than other tapes that don't have the liner and 2), this is expensive tape. At a dollar a foot, and only 10 feet per roll, this is a lot more expensive than other styles of tapes. I am fine with it though - it works a lot better for me and is worth it.

Some of my kettlebells have some residual seams on the handles. This tape is EXACTLY what I needed to resolve that. It self adheres great, was easy to apply. Is a little tacky by nature, so might need to use chalk if doing swings, etc. So far have wrapped two of the five kettlebells and will probably be able to wrap all five with the length provided.

I got this silicone tape to cover damaged fishing rod handles and give me a better grip for casting and fighting large fish. It goes on easily, just wind it around,the existing foam grip, overlapping at least 1/4 inch to ensure it seals. It makes my old rods look new and function better than they did when new. I am very happy with this tape and recommend it to anyone who wants a better looking and gripping handle for racquets, golf clubs, and fishing rods. Excellent product!
