I wasn't sure how well these would work, I've seen a lot of brands talk the talk but not be able to walk the walk...well this one does both! It looks shockingly small. I got two sizes, one that is small, and then the largest one they have. I color my hair and got them for a vacation where we stayed at an Air BnB and I didn't want to ruin their towels or sheets/pillows with rub off of my color, and didn't want to bring one of my towels from home because they are bulky. When I opened them I was hesitant they'd be of much use, the fabric just didn't feel like it would do anything, it almost felt water repellent. I used them for a week and can confirm they are super absorbing, and somehow even though my towels at at home do, they didn't hold any of the color from my hair (I used one to sleep on, and no color rub off in the night, and checked the white pillows and it didn't go through) so this is some sort of magic material in my mind. They come with a carrying case, which I literally bet my aunt the large one would definitely not fold back up in to...I lost the bet. It was shockingly easy to fold it down and in the bag looking like I'd never even opened it! Since they are meant more for the beach, they have a nice corner pocket that zips, but is only visible from one side, so you could lay it with that side down and it just looks like a regular blanket (assuming you are at a beach where you can make a little pocket in the sand for it to lay flat). If you are at a resort and have a key card, versus car keys, you could put it on a lounge chair and keep your room card safe and hidden. Did not think I'd like these, let alone love them. I have some relatives who frequent the beach and camp a lot, they are each getting one for the holidays.

These are not soft and plush like terry towels. They do not absorb the same way as terry towels. It's more like you wipe your body with it and think you aren't drying, and then you are suddenly quite dry. It's different but effective. (I am a small woman. I cannot speak to how this works for a large person with a lot of body hair.) I bought these to take to the gym for my post-swim shower. I'm 5'3", and the 30x60 works as a body towel -- it falls to within an inch or two of my knees. I love how much less space it takes up in my very full swim bag. I was so pleased with this as a body towel that I bought a smaller one (24x48) for my long hair, and it works great as a hair towel. I haven't noticed any damage since I started using it. I've been so pleased with these that I bought more for the beach because they pack down so small. Since I used these on a beach chair, I can't speak to how well they repel sand, but because they don't have loops like a terry towel and the nap is minimal, I suspect they collect less sand. Traditional beach towels are more snuggly, but I liked having less bulk to cart across the sand. Also, my skin in sensitive to bleach, so these have been really handy in hotel rooms -- I use one of these instead of the bleached towels. The bag that the towel comes in is handy if, like me, you don't like thinking about dirty things rubbing against your towel. The towel has a loop that allows it to hang securely, so you're less likely to have your towel fall on floor of the public shower. That said, the 30x60 is so long that it might drag on the floor. You can hang the towel kinda folder, or loop an end back through the loop. (You can also hang the towel inside its carrying bag.) That loop was useful during travel when going from the hotel where I just used the towel to the car with ten hours of driving to go. I can hang the towel by the loop on my car's backseat hook (by a backseat window) and feel that the towel is drying better than it would stuffed in a bag. Overall, great product, great for travel.

I’ve never used a towel on myself that seemed better suited for a car. All joking aside, this product is good for traveling for a few reasons 1) it’s compact, 2) it’s lightweight, and 3) it dries fast. Using this towel is not like a normal towel experience - it is not as soft and it doesn’t easily glide on your skin. However, if you need something compact, lightweight, and fast-drying, this hits all of those marks and dries your entire body exceptionally well. I got the XL size and it mirrored the size of a bath towel perfectly. I did not feel like it was lacking in size. It was just like using a towel with regard to size. I did a test run at home and had a great experience, so I will be taking it on a road trip next week. I washed it before use & it washes nicely and also fits back into the carrying pouch relatively easily.

We just got back from a trip to Europe. I knew we'd be washing clothes in the sink several times on the trip. Rolling wet clothes in a towel to squeeze out extra moisture means...very wet towels that don't dry. Ick. I decided to get this in the hope that it would work for that purpose. Answer is: yes! It opens up quite wide (I got the 40x72" size). After washing some clothes in the sink, I squeezed out water by wringing them, then I hung them up for a bit (30 minutes or so?) to drip. After a little squeeze of the bottom (the water would collect at the bottom), I put the garments on the towel. I could fit 2 pairs of crop pants plus a shirt or 2 on this towel. Then I rolled the towel up tightly to squeeze out more moisture. Unrolled this towel (which was really wet now), and hung up the clothes. I also draped this towel over the edge of a door or shower door. It did dry overnight. I washed it when I got home (in a washer & dryer--not the sink!), and it's good as new. Very lightweight and folds up compactly. There's even a zipper pouch in one corner--I guess if you take it to the beach, you could put your watch, keys, etc. in the pouch. We didn't try that out. Glad I got it. Husband said we wouldn't need it, but...was glad we had it.

I bought this to try for an up coming kayaking trip. It's light weight, packs small, and dry very fast! It's not very soft when you first get it. It get softer after you was it a bout 3 times. I really like this towel, seems well made! I really like the warranty they have. Other bands don't offer or have warrant and they do not stand behind their product! This company does!

Why haven't I bought this towel earlier?? I was hesitant to buy it at first, but after reading the reviews, I purchased one for my trip. This towel shocked me!! I have used it for the shower, beach and pool and it is absolutely amazing!! Absorbs water better than a regular towel. It dries faster than a regular towel. No need for a regular towel!!! Will be buying more for my next trip, so I don't need to keep washing it between uses.

I always hated how the regular cotton or whatever materials are used for the typical house towels never get me dry without multiple tries. These things, however, although weird at first, dry it all THE FIRST TIME. Also, they have a loop for easily hanging up your towel if you visit family and their house only has hooks to share. This is the second of two that I've bought and I highly recommend these. But--make sure you measure. The first one I got was the largest size and it's ginormous. And... it has a weird zipper pocket on one corner? The second one, which was I think 60×something is much better (the other was 72xsomething and waaaay too long when you hook it up since the loop is in the corner).
