Mr. Doggo loves sleeping on his heat pad in the winter and figured out to roll over to let his arthritic hip get relief from the heat. Sadly though, it is too hot in the summer for him to be able to use it then as well. Doggo is a large breed so I got the largest size and it works great. It takes up a bit more than half the sofa so he can choose to either lay on the warm pad or lay on the plain sofa where it is cooler. He often keeps his bottom half on the pad and top half off it. Will be buying another so when this one wears out, we already have a replacement ready to go.

This was great until it wasn't. Used for about a month & started smelling something burning. It was getting too hot & starting to burn through the material. Company sent a replacement & it's fine. I check it daily..still a little leary.

This is a great size for my male German Shephard dog. #2 setting is plenty warm for indoor use. Can be on a timer or steady on. Cannot put in washing machine but easy to wipe surfaces

My elderly cat needed some warmth, and is leery of new things. I set it up on a couch she does not often lay on, but she was on it that very evening, stretching out her front legs for maximum effect. I love that it is wipeable/waterproof, and the controls for both time and temperature are very nice. It is a quality item that I will hand down to my daughters cats when my kitty is done with it.

I bought this for my outdoor cat to put in her wood winter box. I love that you can change the time to be on for a certain length of time or have it continuous and that there are different temperatures. It is supposed to cut off when not being laid on, but it didn't always shut off, which was OK so it will still be warm when she lays back on it. The heat from it somewhat warms up the inside of the box also. Warning: I learned the hard way, we had it set on level 4 heat, and after I while I found wounds on her belly and the hair fell out. We left it on level 2 after that, if it was going to be really cold we set on 3, then would turn it down in the morning. The higher temperatures would be great if you were covering the pad with a blanket or something. I'm pleased with it!
