Very Pleased so far after a couple months (I think) after building this. Our son loves it. It is really manageable to build with the instructions which are provided. I would suggest to lay out all of the pieces first prior to building. This organises all of the pieces in the space you are building the frame. It really helps and ensures you were shipped with all of the pieces and hardware. In my case, I was shipped everything you need and also some spare hardware just in case which is a nice touch from the manufacturer. Overall, it is just what the boy needed including the nice electronic ports for chargers. The key piece for me was the metal slats. Wood are worthless these days IMO - so these fit into their own fittings as well which secures everything nicely under the mattress. ... show more

So I bought two of these because my kids share room. One remote controlled both lights on the beds. Somewhat easy to assemble. There is a place when putting the headboard together where the picture is a bit unclear and I had to turn to the next page to see what it looked like and then go back to put it together correctly. The bed seems sturdy. If you’re just using a mattress, there is a gap between the headboard and the mattress where the pillows can fall back behind the bed. I wish there was a C type port for the charging ports instead of two USB ports. Good enough quality, sturdy and doesn't really squeak. The headboard is not as functional as I desired though - the shelves are very narrow, and are not all the same depth so that stuff can fall off the back of the shelf and get lost behind the bed. There's also large bolts which protrude from the back so that if you push the headboard against the wall it'll gouge holes in the wall. ... show more
