Great small chairs. They reach an adult to about maybe a little more than half the back. It's NOT a full bacck chair. My 7 yr old fits perfectly while the rest of us fits to about half of our backs. I bought them for the dining table, they look nice.

My wife insisted that we needed extra dining room chairs for Christmas, so I took a good look around and saw this set of four and ordered them. The set arrived well-packed and well-protected. As with almost everything nowadays they arrived disassembled. All the hardware was there and there was even a spare set included. An Allen wrench is supplied to fasten the bolts but if you have a ratcheting screwdriver and a suitable bit then it will go faster. I used a ratcheting screwdriver and assembly (which was extremely straightforward) was completed in just under 25 minutes. And that was for all four chairs! The chairs are made from a faux suede material which is soft to the touch. The listing does describe the chairs as "waterproof and breathable." Breathable, yes. Waterproof though, not so much. I put a teaspoon of water on the seat, and it sat there for less than a second before soaking right in. For us that's not a big deal but if you have children do be aware. The wet patch dried out relatively quickly and did not leave a water mark/stain. The chairs are modern in style, and I think I would call them 60's retro as I can recall having similar chairs way back when. The chairs are sturdy, and they are rated for 300lbs. which is going to be adequate for most people. The padding is a little on the thin side so extended sitting time may prove a little uncomfortable. Having said that, even though they are not designed for cushions you could easily use them that way if you wanted. I did find the chairs relatively comfortable to sit on and they would see you through dinner without any undue discomfort. Overall, if you are looking for a replacement or an extra set of dining room chairs at a reasonable price then you should consider this set.

These are the cutest chairs! The box they arrived in was super heavy so be prepared. I love how the legs are a one piece metal crossbar making them super sturdy. Assembly was a breeze once I realized that there are arrows on the legs and chair so when you are assembling take note - if the arrows aren't pointing in the same direction towards the front of the chair, the holes won't line up. It comes with allen wrenches and all you have to do is screw in the screws and a washer for the four holes and you're all set. It was really easy to put them together. I ordered these as extra chairs for guests for my dining table and as you can see from the photo the back is much lower than my current dining chairs which have high backs so know that these chairs have low profile backs. The height of the seats are exactly the same though and they are super comfy. I am really pleased with these chairs and would definitely recommend.

I am very surprised by the quality of these chairs. I love the mid century style, but I'm used to paying a lot more for it. These required very little assembly, which was very simple and took me around 30 minutes to put together all four. The extra hardware is a nice touch and very appreciated. The upholstery does not scream fake leather, it is a soft, suede like texture with slight color variation. I love the buttery brown appearance that this effect creates. The chairs are very comfortable to sit in, and sturdy with no wobbling. I only took off one star because they claim to be waterproof, however, the fabric definitely absorbs liquids. There isn't a huge amount of discoloration when wet, but I wouldn't want to test it on a large area. Other than that, these are a great value, and surprisingly good quality, I would definitely recommend!

I was not expecting much when I ordered these but I was very surprised, and in a good way. These went together easily, they're sturdy and level. No wobbling. Best of all, they look really good in my kitchen with the table. I've been using these for several months now and have had no issues with keeping them clean, or them breaking, or the fabric wearing down. These were a great find.

I got these four chairs for extra seating. They are packed unassembled and very compactly. It took me under 45 minutes to assemble all four. A good chunk of that was unwrapping all the protective padding and plastic around the legs and seat. There is a bag of parts for each chair plus my box had a fifth extra bag of parts too (very generous!). Each bag contains the screws and washers you need for one chair, plus a hex wrench, a spare washer and screw set, and a spare foot pad. With the extra bag, I ended up with spare parts for these chairs for another lifetime or two! The chairs are upholstered with a suede-like faux leather material. While the Amazon page said this material was waterproof, I put a couple of drops of water on the fabric on the bottom of the chair. It soaked in right away. So, I would not give much credence to the waterproof claim. The packing materials had an odor that I found somewhat unpleasant but the assembled chairs did not (thankfully). The chairs seem mostly comfortable. I read a magazine for 20 minutes in one and felt I had good back support. These are inexpensive chairs and the seat cushion is not well padded. Depending on your use of these chairs, you might want to get some separate cushions for more comfortable seating. Please note -- these chairs do not stack. So, they may take up a lot of storage room if you acquired them for extra seating. I stored mine with two side-by-side and the other two upside-down on top of the seats.
