Would absolutely not recommend this chair set for purchase. I purchased this set to accompany an Ikea dining room table that I had, as I loved the look of these chairs. The chairs were shipped earlier than expected which was great, but were delivered missing some washers (had enough lock washers but not enough normal washers) which are crucial for the assembly. The assembly was decent enough to figure out as they provide you with hex keys, but the holes that the leg screws are supposed to go into were drilled unevenly, causing the legs to wobble no matter if the legs were swapped/switched out. Once constructed, despite the wobble, they still seemed flimsy and appeared to loosen readily, when I wiggled on top of the chair (for reference, I'm only 5'5 and ~130 pounds so I was nowhere near being too heavy per the manufacturer's specifications). Now, I'm stuck with a box that is too heavy for me to return (unsure of how I will be able to get this to a UPS drop-off location), and am still out the $40 in shipping that was required for delivery. Don't waste your time or money, choose Ikea/Overstock moving forward instead!

Easy to put together, nice looking chairs and comfortable, but can't take a lot of weight, don't stand on them and use lots of lock tight on the bolts, they come loose. I find this to be true of most chairs bought having to assemble. The corner brackets on the front of the chairs are held by staples and will not hold. After a chair broke, I secured the rest of the chairs by screwing in the corner supports. The company is sending me a new seat to replace the one that broke, so great customer service. $25 a chair is pretty cheap, so you can't expect the best quality, but it's been 10 months now and I'm still staisfied.

Update 8/3/21:with tightening every few months, these chairs didn’t last long. It’s been a year and a half, we rarely if ever even use them and I need a new set. You get what you pay for. Slightly smaller than anticipated but surprisingly fits well in my eat-in kitchen space with my glass table. Legs are a tad unstable, but with my area rug you can’t tell at all. I would have preferred a more manageable allen wrench for the bottom screws as it couldn’t make a full circle and took a while to tighten. Overall all I’m very pleased and would recommend these chairs.

At first we were trying to put the chairs together my boyfriend was getting angry because it would not catch because the bolt was too short then I was trying to assemble another chair because 2 of us doing it would get it done faster and I realized there are longer and shorter bolts which they did not really specify in the instructions at all anywhere. So that is one problem that could be easily fixed if they just put that in the instructions there are 2 different sized bolts. Once we got that figured out though it went pretty fast and got all 4 of them up and ready. They are very good chairs for their price I weigh only 100 lbs so it can hold me easily I am not sure how much my boyfriends 14 year old son weighs but he's maybe an inch taller than I am (I am 5'4) and my boyfriend is around 240 lbs 5'11 and the chairs hold him. So when assembled properly then they work pretty well. I am not sure how much weight they can hold up to but I guess I'll find out from either my grandmother who is over 300 and my brother who is also over 300 if they can hold them up without breaking.

These chairs are obviously cheaply made and probably won't last very long. They were easy to assemble, just tedious using Allen key and was missing a couple of washers. Clear and concise instructions. The seat is very firm, which is ok because over time with continued use, the cushion will wear down. I personally found the seat to be too narrow, it is only 16" and the back height is too short (18") so not the measurements in the description for the chairs. A petite person may find these chairs to be ok. They do look nice though but not sure how long they will last. I read the negative reviews of chair legs breaking and chairs collapsing and still decided to take a chance that they will not do that as there were also positive reviews. Also, colour was totally off. In the picture they look beige, which should have matched the decor perfectly, instead I got a darker brownish colour which sticks out like a sore thumb bjt was not paying all that money to return it.

Finally got around to assemble these chairs, they are fairly easy to put together, i spent about 45 mins putting them together by myself without any help. They are a little smaller than my expectation but i was comparing it against my other set of chairs. These are good sized and are good for apartment sitting. The profile is compact but they are still very comfortable. So far they are very sturdy and feels great. I also like the light grey color which matches with my dark brown wood table perfectly. If you are looking for chairs with a slim profile and for apartments, this is a great fit.
