This machine has been a great pitching resource for my son. With that, it tends to overheat after a couple rounds. We turn it off for about 30 minutes, and then it is good to go again!

We ordered this product and it failed on the first day. I did a return on the item and received a replacement quickly. However the same plastic piece failed again after a few days of use. It is a great product when operating properly.

It's a good idea for kids in t-ball and coach pitch. But doesn't go very far or high. I had it plug in to 120v wall outlet.

Was super-excited to get this to help my son with practice. Unfortunately, adjustment control broke and accuracy was way off. I returned product for full refund.

Love this! By no means is is professional at all but it works great for practice. It does a good job varying the type of pitch that comes from it. It’s slow enough for my daughter to learn and my son to get better. The real winner of this is using it for catching. Pop ups are a huge issue for my son and he needed to learn how to better bunt. I am very happy with his progress since getting this!

This toss machine from Furlihong is advertised as a machine that can be used for baseball or tennis. But be cautious. If you're teaching a very young child who has never played tennis before, then this machine could be useful. But I have played tennis for most of my life, and I have used many different ball machines. The cheapest ones I have used sell for around $600 and the most expensive ones are well over $2,000. If you want to use a ball machine to really help someone improve their tennis game, you need one that has a lot more power than this simple machine. It also needs to be able to put spin on the ball, move from side to side, and have several different adjustments. I ordered this machine to teach my son how to catch a baseball. Since he is so young, I'm going to either use the 3 dimpled balls that come with it, or I will use tennis balls since they are much softer than a baseball. For teaching someone to catch a ball, this machine is great, since it can consistently toss the ball to the same location each time. This way I can stand next to my son and help him make adjustments until he is catching the balls correctly most of the time. If you do decide to use this machine for tennis, I would limit it to teaching someone how to volley at the net, since they will be closer to the machine and the fact that it's not that powerful or can't put spin on the ball won't matter as much.
