I like how the bed looks, it does need a longer twin mattress and thicker to come above the bottom of the headboard. We transitioned my son from a toddler bed to this and the height from the floor is perfect for that. I purchased this 8 months ago and it has broken twice. Once my three year old jumped on me sitting on the bed and the other him and two other little ones were playing and it broke. The wood supporting the slats just detaches and falls straight to the ground. We did use it as a guest bed for an adult for a few nights and my husband has fallen asleep in it before and it supports adults fine, just no jumping! I just added 4 2x4s, one under each existing piece of wood. Hoping we won’t have anymore issues. It is cheap enough, a few extra supports aren’t an issue. If it breaks again, I will be done with it. Will update if that happens.

Love this bed for smaller apartments, children’s first twin size beds and those who enjoy being close to the ground but not directly on it! It’s definitely aesthetically pleasing as well with the nice design. Easy to put together. One person could do it alone but with two people you can get it done in about thirty minutes. It’s worth the money for sure. If you have small children and you’re getting this for them my only thing is don’t let them jump on it because it will damage the thin slats. That’s one dislike but not enough to rate it lower because I love this frame!

DEATH TRAP. THREW IT OUT IN UNDER A MONTH

This bedframe is a nightmare. Not worth trying to be cheap and not safe. It took a while to assemble bc it comes in a tiny box and it is very light because it is made for twigs and garbage. After we finally got it assembled bc that is a guessing game with the blurred and smudged directions that have no words...we were terrified to get into our new bed bc it seemed so flimsy. We splurged on the mattress so I went cheap for the frame. It was so flimsy with just our nectar matress and had no support so I put a real boc spring under it bc my 35 yr old box spring had wayyyy better construction lol. Once we did that it was actually pretty comfy for ONE DAY. The next day the support legs beneath if just snapped so I took off the cheap broken legs and stacked wood underneath it. Then later THE SAME NIGHT the side support legs just snapped off and the bad came down and almost killed my cat, so we built makeshift supports for that...about a week later the actual slats the were holding up the box spring just started snapping, again bed crashed down, pulling the cord to a lamp worth 4x the friggin thing and shattering it. I got thicker wood and fixed that and the following week when the bottom slats started snapping I threw the entire bottom of the Garbage pos on the front lawn and we kept the head board thinking it would look better than our effinh bed just on the floor. It had an attatchment bracket that I attached to some heavy wood to stabilize it. THE BRACKETS BROKE AND IT BEANED US ON THE HEAD IN OUR SLEEP. Its a death trap and I have never spent more time ot been driven to tears by a piece of furniture. Ps. i weigh 150 my hubs weighs 230. This thing was not built for normal sized Americans. Or underweight chinchillas

Good for the money

We purchased this bed frame (king) for our guest room. I was a little hesitant at first to purchase this bed frame, based on the reviews, but we were trying to stick within a certain budget, so I decided to take a chance. It came packaged in one, long box. Everything was included and not damaged, despite the guys that delivered it did NOT handle it with care. The instructions were pretty easy to read and follow. They include an extra of each hardware, which I do like. Overall, it took me a little over an hour to put it together, but it was easy. It doesn’t feel extremely sturdy, but it’s not overly flimsy either. For what you pay, it is sturdy enough to feel comfortable laying on it and sleeping in it. My only complaint is that is very low to the ground. We had an ultra low Tempurpedic mattress board for our king mattress, so we used that. It’s only 2.5” thick, so it didn’t raise the mattress up too much further. The slats that come with the frame recess a little into the bed frame, so in all, the mattress foundation board we had only lifted our mattress up about 1” or so. If you get this, I would recommend having some sort of board to lift a little bit. Maybe something that could lift the mattress up about 4-5”, otherwise it is pretty low. Overall, we are happy with it and it will serve its purpose for guests. If you’re looking for something inexpensive, but still looks nice, I would recommend this bed frame.

Awesome so far

My daughter originally had picked out a similar bed frame at a certain Swedish big-box, but due to Covid and the issues surrounding getting freight through customs (or at least this is what I was told) that store was out of the frame and was not going to be restocking any time soon. As this was for her college apartment, I didn't want her sleeping on a mattress on the floor for too long, so I found this frame online and had it shipped to her. The price was very comparable to the other one, the frame arrived very quickly and in great condition. Thanks to other reviewers, I was able to message her and tell her to look at the back of the headboard for the remaining pieces (she thought that was very ingenious) and between herself and her roommates, the bed was assembled and made up very quickly. The slatted base was a necessity, as she has a foam mattress. This bed is much nicer-looking, in my opinion, than the other one, and so far has been holding up very well (of course she's only had it for 2 months, so time will tell.) All around we are pleased with this purchase.

We have had it for 3 years now. It worked for the time we needed it, and didn’t have a whole lot of money. I do believe it was overpriced because it is cheap quality. It looks okay, if you want something g simple and clean looking, the frame itself is what I am referring to as “cheap quality” .It had come apart a few times through the last 3 years, and we have had to Afro engineer it to make it work. Just bought a new bed frame of much better quality because we are finally now ready to do so financially, and I am very excited to finally get rid of this one.

Great bed, lots of parts

The bed is actually made of nice sturdy solid wood, and not pressed wood board like some cheaper bed frames, which is what I was expecting for this price. But I was shockingly surprised when we started unpacking it and saw the quality. It's the perfect height for my 14" memory foam mattress, I am a little person so it makes it perfect height for both me and my husband who is of average height. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a well made and affordable bed frame. The only complaint we had is that the directions are just photos, but other than that it is pretty easy to assemble. You will need a screw gun to secure the end sections of the slats to the frame, but they are pre-drilled if you don't have an electric one and it should be simple to screw in with a hand screw driver.
