The padded quilted top panel zips on and off to better cater to your pet's preferred form of comfort. Don't need the top panel or just want to wash up real quick? Simply unzip to remove! Top panel also acts a pocket for cooling or heating pads! The mattress core is topped with a layer of insulating memory foam that contours to your pet's figure for improved body alignment and joint relief; the base features a medical-grade solid foam core for better support and value. Low profile, step-on design for easy access by older or disabled pets. Easy to clean. Cover care: Remove from core before washing (see seam label for fabric care instructions). Foam care: Memory foam is highly absorbent. Spot clean with mild soap or enzyme-based cleaning spray. Rinse but DO NOT SOAK OR SUBMERGE. Press out moisture with a dry towel and air dry. Nice Dog Bed. Comfortable. My 60 and 90 lb dogs like them. Material is tough and a "slick" material, so if your floor is vinyl or wood, they will slide all over. This dog bed cover surprised me. Because of the very affordable price, I wasn't expecting much. I was nicely surprised. Good quality overall: it's sturdy, made well, great color, and easy to clean fabric. If I had to criticize anything it would be the zipper area; it tends to get stuck in the fabric so you have to be cautious while zipping. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase. Bought it to cover a dog bed that my dog chewed a hole through instead of getting a new one. The large fit the bed perfectly, it feels nice and soft. My dog already almost chewed the corner off so it’s not super durable.

I am writing this review 5 months after receiving it. I had ordered it for an elderly Miniature Schnauzer with back and joint issues. The only regret I have is I didn't order this for him years ago. He loved it the 2 weeks that he had left on this earth. I am so glad I purchased this for him. This made his last days so much more comfortable. He used it continuously. The bed arrived a day earlier than expected. It said it required letting the bed fill out naturally for 24 hours or maybe 48 hours before using it. It arrives with all the air sucked out of it in plastic and expands when its opened. I didn't follow the directions, he was miserable, so he started using it in about 4 hours. It held a dog that was about 20 lbs. very well. The bed was 2 to 3 inches off the floor, so it was easy for a little dog to get on with mobility issues. The outside covering is removable and washable. I washed it once and it held up well when it began to smell. Washing it multiple times I can't make any comments there. The inside padding didn't have any smell and was not washed. The covering is thin and if you hold it up to the light you can see the light through it. However you don't notice it unless you hold it up to the light. The fur hides the thin covering well and it looks lush and full. I think it makes the bed a lot more comfortable for the dog. I haven't had any chewing issues at this point so I can't make any comments there. The puppy miniature schnauzer has used it for several weeks now. He isn't interested in chewing this. I highly recommend this product for the comfort it provides especially for small dogs with joint problems. The negative things I could say is the zipper could be a little better made. I had to be cautious when putting this over the foam. The Covering was thin too, but I covered that earlier. There may or may not be better made products out there but for the price I ranked this a 5 star. It was cheaper than products I purchased at local stores in the past when prices were cheaper than they are now. If you have an elderly dog with joint issues do your dog a favor and order this for them. ... show more

I bought one and it did great. It is very waterproof, and easy to clean. But that's it as the product isn't durable. I bought four more after the first was washed and doinig well. All of the other four have come apart at the seems, randomly and completly fell apart. ALL FOUR of them. The first one is still OK, but all of the other 4 are trash. Dont waste your money. Updated - was able to contact seller through Amazon. It looks like it may have been an issue with a particular run from manufacturer. Sent pics of product tags and seems torn, zipper unseemed will get 4 new ones from seller no charge. Great customer service. Gave an additional star. ... show more

I'm so happy with this bed cover. This is a real quality product at great price. I bought the large size in grey. I like that you can fill the cover with any kind of material you want. I wanted a completely waterproof cover for my dog's bed because he is older and sometimes has an accident. I have always purchased furry, plush beds for him and sometimes couldn't tell if it was wet. The bottom portion of this cover is totally waterproof but the quilted top is not. I tested it with water and it did bead up, but was absorbed pretty quickly. That's okay because at least I will be able to see if the bed is wet and he doesn't have accidents very often. I used this as a cover for a plush bed with an orthopedic core and he loves it. The quilted cover is soft and smooth and will probably keep him a little cooler now that the heat is on. Sometimes the house gets too warm for him and he chooses to sleep on the hardwood floor. I have a bed for him in my bedroom and the living room but only bought one cover to try it out. I will definitely be purchasing a second! ... show more

I bought the 36x27x3 months ago and it was exactly what I expected. It’s easy to clean. Slight pilling after many washes but still very good quality and durability. Love it. Then I bought this larger one, the 40x32x4, and I’m not quite as happy with it. The case is all still great. But the foam pad never expanded to fullness and one end seemed much thinner than the other. ESPECIALLY one corner. I hope it will continue to fill out more but the thing says give it 48 hours and it’s been abt 4 days now. My dog doesn’t seem upset about it but I wish it was what it claimed it would be. Also, the foam pad in this larger one seems a little dirty on the bottom. I probly got a slightly used one or it got dusty somewhere along the way. I’m not upset enough to send it back bc the cases are so good I’m not worried about what’s inside it too much. But with the smaller version, the pad has stayed perfectly clean and full this whole time she’s used it so I wish the pad on this larger one was just as nice. ... show more
