Wanted to start using a little personal trampoline, but needed to hold the gut in due to umbilical hernia. This works as well as I think it can; 6' 290 lbs. The extra large fits me. The really good thing is that all the material has affinity for velcro, so the side tightener straps can be overlapped beyond the belly button and the one on top will stick to strap on the bottom; can make pretty tight.

Product came in a zip lock bag for storage. It is very elastic and but not much structure. The velcros are strong and can easily be put on without help. Feels great on my back after a back day. It supported my upper body nicely

I have a lot of low back pain from herniated discs that cause a lot of muscle fatigue in my mid back. This brace is not as stiff and helpful with pain as the big one with plastic inserts and intertwined leather strips on the back that my spine MD gave me. It IS a good brace that provides mild to moderate comfortable support on days where my back is tired but not in as much pain. It is really stretchy which is nice because you can go from sitting to standing and vice versa without feeling like you need to adjust it so that you can breathe. The velcro holds well throughout movement. This is not a bulky brace. It does have some vertical supports in it to help it keep its shape. I was worried these might start to poke or jab me, but so far it’s not been a problem and they keep the brace from rolling at the edges. Especially if you are a man, you could wear this under a shirt pretty discretely. I think it would be manageable for a woman if she chose a top or dress that was a looser cut. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I hate having people ask me what’s wrong with my back when I wear my big brace. This one is pretty subtle as far as back braces go. Is it going to solve your back problems? No. Is it going to increase your comfort and add some support to your back? Yes.
