Winch arrived with broken strap. Unable to contact Fulton regarding waranty replacement. Calls not returned and website not operable. Parent company, Horizon Global, does not return calls or emails. Waranty is worthless.

    • Does the job but can be finicky on the in activity.
We would like it better if it worked consistently when pulling objects in, often stops and requires reversing the cable about 5-10 feet before being able to pull in again. Remote is difficult to turn on.

I bought this before vacation. Came home and open box. Missing the important reason I bought this, the remote. I looked all over the internet for the remote. Just the remote. Nothing So now I have to contact someone for the remote. Got the yellow float, but that wasn't important. So if I can't get remote im sending the whole thing back and purchasing another brand. The winch itself is exactly as expected and will work perfect for my boat. You should know that when I unpacked it, there was a dirty, used band aid in the packaging.

    • Winch strap not described in ad.
Once I received the winch I was really excited to get a winch which would pull a boat up to 26 ft. as described in ad, also has 10,000 lb cap. The only thing they didn't describe was the nylon strap. It is 2" wide, that's great. But it is only 15' long. You would have to sink your trailer axles ( Which I never do, especially in salt water) and drive you boat on to the trailer instead of hooking it and pulling it on. Had to send it back without even taking it out of the box. They are charging 20% stocking fee. I would not buy this winch. It all sounds great but it is lacking on the most important part. My current winch has a 40 ft cable and I only have a 18 ft Garvey, This winch would not even get my boat into the water unless I unhooked it first and just let the boat go. I prefer to control my boat as I unload and load it which this winch prevents with a short winch strap. ... show more

So it claimed it is for up to 26’ boat. My boat is 18’ Launched the boat after winch install. Went to trailer boat and could not. Strap was a couple feet short of being able to connect. So had to pull my boat on trailer with a come along till the strap would reach. Very deceptive advertising! I’m ordering a 20’ strap. Hope there is enough room on the spool to make it work. My winch install was 6 hours, plus $200 for battery box and battery. Trying to salvage my time and $700 investment… ... show more
