PROS Decent kit. Convenient keyed like. Nice finish. SUGGEST Grease up the internals with key cylinder grease. CONS The chrome U-bolt hitch mechanism is kinda pickable using the milk carton plastic method. The easy-to-use sliding U-Bolt uses a (((spring loaded))) pin I stead of a locking pin which means a thin piece of plastic can pick this lock. SUGGESTION Use ADDITIONAL security methods (wheel locks, chains etc) to make your trailer even more unattractive for a quick lock picker theif. The products did fit correctly and have worked as stated. The smaller lock seems flimsy but still acts as a deterrent.

    • Nice all-in-one kit for trailer/hitch security.
I use this kit with both a travel trailer and a hitch cargo carrier. Anyone who uses something like this understands that travel trailer hitches and cargo carriers can get EXPENSIVE. Avoid having yours walk off when your vehicle is unattended by using the locking hitch pin in this kit. The coupler lock (yellow ball and shackle) and the coupler latch lock (brass) spend most of their lives outside in the elements and have survived fairly well for what they are. However, I did have the brass lock tumbler crumble and fall apart after about two solid years of use, thus prompting me to buy a replacement set.     • Great Kit for boat trailer
I like that one key works on all of the locks. I especially like the insert in the coupler to keep anyone from attaching to their rig. Lot of boat and trailer theft going on. Nothing is 100% but everything you can do to make it more difficult is good. Some years ago, we launched and came back tide too low. Someone was in the process of stealing our trailer by disconnecting the ball and bolt on to their rig. Our boat shop put a spot of weld on the threads of the ball bolt next to the nut.     • Very pleased with it's toughness
This is on a trailer that sits outside most of the year and it's held up very well. The hitch pin lock for the receiver is good too; many are too short this one is right on. The padlock could be a little wider, it did not fit our application because the mouth of the lock is too narrow.

    • Good Enough
This is mainly to prevent nosey people from taking your trailer. The hitch lock will break with a swift blow from a hammer which I learned from the previous one. The lock wouldn't fit my trailer but overall I am happy with it.
