I really like this budget-friendly mattress! I previously had a 12-inch all-memory-foam mattress that was comfortable for a while, but eventually it just wasn't working for me anymore. This is my first hybrid mattress, and so far, I am really enjoying the difference. I've only had it for a few weeks, but one thing I have noticed is that I am waking up without the stiff, sore back I had started experiencing with my old mattress. That alone makes me pretty happy. I'm hoping that comfort continues as I get more time with it. Unpacking was easy, and it was actually kind of fun watching the mattress expand over the first few hours. I gave it the recommended amount of time to fully expand before using it. There was no strong chemical odor, which I appreciated, and I also like that it is CertiPUR-US certified. The mattress has a medium-firm feel, which is exactly what I was looking for. The top is soft and comfortable, and I use a fluffy, silky-feeling mattress pad that adds an extra layer of softness and makes the whole thing feel a little more luxurious. The pocket springs are new for me, and I think they are making a noticeable difference in the support. I feel like I'm getting more support for my back than I did with my old all-foam mattress. The one area that could use some improvement is the edge support. When I sit on the edge of the bed, it feels a little squishy. Once I'm actually lying down, though, it feels great. For the price, I am really happy with this mattress. I obviously can't speak to how it will hold up several years from now, but after a few weeks, I'm sleeping comfortably and waking up feeling better. I’m glad I took the chance on a hybrid mattress, and at this point, I don't think I'm going back to solid memory foam!

Medium firm is my mattress of choice, and I'd say Xisynaptix does a pretty good job at hitting that target. Without knowing the rating given I'd describe this as a medium firm mattress. The top is comfortable and the bed is not jiggly, so I think there is something to the attempt to isolate individual movement. Overall, this is one of the more comfortable mattresses I've slept on. The mattress was easy to unpackage with the included safety blade knife. It took only a few hours to reach full expansion, much less time than the 24+ the instruction says to expect. There was no discernable odor when the plastic wrap came off, that's worth a star by itself in my book. Now for the not-so-great. Lying on the bed the mattress is medium firm as was earlier stated. However, sitting on the edge it feels rather soft. Like the springs are individually rather weak. I don't know if this is a problem but if reduces my confidence a bit. The other factor that causes me to reduce the rating is the quality of the top stitching. A couple of the contours are uneven; the tufts are a different size from end to end. It's not enough to pick up on while lying on the mattress but it makes me discount the likelihood of this lasting well. I ordered this mattress for a guest room and in that capacity I think it will provide good value, I don't recommend for your every night sleep center.

Now do I think this is the most comfortable or firm mattress? No absolutely not. Do I think its a good option for those that are on a budget and need something descent? Yes for sure. The top layer of the mattress was surprisingly comfortable feeling and was soft to the touch. I do think this is pretty much a one person mattress OR a mattress for two people who are under 150 lbs. When I got to the edge of the mattress it pretty much just collapsed so It isn't reliable to hold weight in that part of the mattress. I didn't sink into the middle of the mattress when I laid on it and I am about 200 pounds. I am curious to see how long this will keep its firmness and IF it would start to sink in the middle but It was pretty comfy for the price you pay. This came compressed in a box and did take a day or so to fully expand and I fortunately didn't notice any weird smells at all. I do like that this is much firmer than some mattresses I've tried and is pretty true to the medium firm claim.

This mattress is thick, soft, and sturdy, definitely built with quality in mind. It was very easy to set up too, it expanded to its full size almost instantly once we took it out of the compressed shape it came in from the box. It's really comfortable to sleep on, holds its shape well, and doesn't feel like it's going to break down anytime soon. Great option if you want something plush but still supportive, and we've had a great night's sleep on it every time. Overall very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

This mattress is great for starter mattress! I know most people are used to high expectations and look for the biggest bang for our buck. But if you need a really good mattress that is comfortable and fills your needs, you won't be disappointed. The reason for 4 stars is the minimal top padding that is great for lighter weight and smaller people. The support is actually great for those who prefer a little more firmness. The sides do collapse if you sit on the edge and I am 130 lbs. But once you lie down on the mattress it is firm and comfortable. I am most happy with the ease of shipping to door, rapid set up, and the cost. If you are trying to get set up in a home and money is tight, this is a great quality option that will last a while. This also works perfectly for guest bed, daybed, and tiny homes. This mattress works well on platform beds and the fold out frames if you have narrow halls or stairs that prevent you from being able to move box springs through them.

What a great mattress! It is a true full size mattress. And the medium firmness is great, very supportive without feeling like a stone slab. The mattress is also nice and thick, which lends a lot to its over all comfort. One thing I was VERY happy about it there was no odor when we opened it. I have had other foam mattresses that took weeks to off gas. I was pleased that we were able to start using this one after letting it regain its size after opening. For the price, I cannot recommend this mattress enough!
