I didn’t know what to expect when I bought this bed but I am very pleased with the quality. The wood is a very pretty light honey color and you can see a little bit of the grain. It was very simple to assemble, with one extra of each type of nut or screw and the necessary tools included. When it comes to the last step of attaching the slats to the frame I did get the electric drill out to speed things up. There is good clearance under the bed for storage but if you don’t use a bed skirt you will definitely see what’s under the bed. There is no creaking or any other noise when turning over in bed. I’ve had to slide the bed out a couple of times to attach a wall mounted headboard and the bed and supports did not feel at all flimsy while pulling and pushing it around. Two things to consider- the width of the king is actually 78” not 76” like the description says, so I do have an inch on either side where the frame sticks out more than the mattress. The other thing is that the mattress sits purely on top of the platform and there is nothing to keep it from sliding across the frame. In the two weeks I’ve had it, this hasn’t been a problem I think because my Tempurpedic is so heavy but a lighter weight mattress may slide a little. Maybe some Velcro strips on both the frame and the bottom of the mattress would help but I did select this frame for that clean minimalistic look. Overall, it is high quality and a great price.

I didn't have a lot of hope in this product being a bed frame you buy online but it turned out to be surprisingly good. It took me two hours to build because I just took my time at it. It had all the parts plus some extra screws and bolts, nice touch. The thing is built like a tank. We got a full size so the two support beams down the center gives it plenty of support. The only downside was that I couldn't get as many bins under it as we wanted to. You have to turn them sideways and shove some in at the foot of the bed. The good thing was you could get the 11" or so high Costco bins under it so there is plenty of storage space. I don't regret this purchase at all and would do it again.

4.4 stars It’s not my perfect dream bed but for the price it was surprisingly sturdy. The wood was very heavy and has a nice sleek finish to it. No missing parts and everything was labeled clearly. I appreciated the packaging as nothing came damaged. The holes for the slats and the middle support beam were those incomplete holes that look closed off, but the screws still easily went through. You just have to poke the hole first! Since the bed frame was heavy enough I was able to use the headboard of my old bed by just putting it against the wall and sliding the bed in front of it. Overall I am happy with this bed since it doesn’t bounce which causes me headaches. I would have liked the velcro strips on the slats though in addition to the screws. When I throw my weighted blanket on the bed you could hear the slats. Still very sturdy.

EASIER TO ASSEMBLE WITH POWER DRILL! It looks exactly like the picture, and it's sturdy. The item was difficult for me to put together though because the slats didn't have holes pre-drilled in them, and so I had to hand drill them myself into the solid wood.

Relatively easy assembly. Heavy wood and certainly not cheap. Looks and feels very premium which is not typical of Amazon. Probably a bit more expensive than I'd like but I'd rather pay a little more if I plan to keep this bed frame for a long time.

I did not receive any of the hardware or tools to assemble the bed frame. I looked in the box to see if I somehow missed something but there were no screws or bolts included. I did receive a pair of white gloves with it for some reason?

Needed a replacement for my old metal slatted platform bed because the mattress was starting to sag. This one came nicely packaged and had all of its pieces. It's was fun putting it together. Quality is way better than expected. Definitely happy with this purchase.
